Mariah Huq’s controversial exit from Married 2 Med is at the forefront of the minds of fans amid Quad Webb’s uncertain future.
“Married to Medicine” star Quad Webb has been a hot topic this season thanks to the latest episode. Quad found out she was in the hot seat with the group during Toya Bush-Harris‘ trip to Napa. Once Quad arrived, Dr. Simone Whitmore and Dr. Heavenly Kimes told Quad how they felt about their friendships with her. Simone said that Quad never takes accountability in her role in the breakdown of things. Heavenly called Quad a user. She said Quad only reaches out to her when it is time to film the show. So she was tired of hearing Quad play the victim when she was confronted about things. In particular, the cast doesn’t believe Quad took any accountability for accusing Toya and Dr. Eugene Harris of having something to do with Anila Sajja’s break-in. So they asked Quad to leave the trip.
To no surprise, fans of the show had strong reactions to the scene on social media. Interestingly enough, Carlos King recently sat down with Quad to discuss the drama. He asked her about her former friendship with Mariah Huq, the creator of the show and former cast member. Mariah was pushed off the show ahead of Season 8. But she remains listed as an executive producer and creator in the show’s credits.
Quad admitted she missed the fun they used to have.
“We got each other so well where I could say something and she’ll finish it just like that. Or she could say something and I’d finish it like that.”
She continued, “And it was never rehearsed. It was just us being us. What people don’t know is that was us on a daily basis…we woke up with the **** and we just would have such a great time together. Our families meshed. It was just like family. That friendship was like a family-based friendship. But I used to date her cousin.”
Quad Webb doesn’t feel she was instrumental in Mariah Huq’s exit.
Carlos then said, “When you experienced what happened to you this season of ‘Married to Medicine,’ it appeared that the girls were icing you out.”
He added, “They didn’t want you there anymore. In that moment did you feel like, huh, is this what Mariah felt like?”
Quad responded, “I felt like I see now.”
After Carlos asked Quad if she helped push Mariah out, she said Mariah can only blame herself.
“Well, I would never want to push anyone anywhere but to greatness. I think sometimes we have to do a self-reflection. I just could remember one time Mariah saying, ‘Y’all not married to medicine. Y’all married to Mariah.’ And that was hurtful. That was hurtful and I’m your friend. And I got your back and we gon go the long way. That was my heart posture and that was my mentality at the time.”
She continued, “So to hear her say things like that, it was more like wait a minute now. We doing this together. What do you mean when you say that? And how am I supposed to feel when you say things like that?”

Quad has still not taken any responsibility. She said she and Mariah were like family. Mariah picked Quad for the show with her not being married to medicine and kept her when she married and divorced medicine. All Quad could say was she hurt that Mariah said she was married to medicine and they were married to her. Quad, she created the show, picked the cast and produced, that made her “married to medicine “. Where is Quad’s self reflection? She denies everything she does to hurt others. She said Greg put his hands on her leaving out her had a knife 🔪 on him. She said Greg wouldn’t let her have anything from the house, leaving out she hadn’t already emptied part of house that had before her. She forgot how she lied about Toya and Eugene robbing Anlia’s house, Toya cheating. How about saying that Mariah was on drugs? The list goes on, but she does no wrong and is the victim.

Mannnnn Quad has beeeeeen full of sh-t and for some reason she had Bravo and the ladies by the balls. She lied and fabricated stories about Mariah since season 2 and I can’t believe the ladies didn’t smell her sh-t!!! She simply wanted Mariah’s “Queen B” spot and it was handed to her on a silver platter. Mariah was something else but she was real and did not deserve how the ladies treated her, and minimized her voice and feelings. Quad is a darn liar! She came in as a friend of Mariah and then stabbed her in the back and helped to push Mariah off the show! What goes around comes around girl!
I felt like l was in the twilight zone because of the way Quad and the rest of the cast ganged up on Mariah. She was and is the reason that they got that job. Quad is an ungrateful b-tch. She is getting everything she deserves now.
