Quad Webb’s supporters have been critical of the current season of Married 2 Med.
The current season of “Married to Medicine” has been on the most controversial yet. Some fans didn’t like to see Quad Webb iced out. However, the other women felt like they did what needed to be done. They said Quad only comes around when it’s time to film the show. So they don’t have real friendships with her at this point. Dr. Heavenly Kimes revealed that Dr. Jackie Walters even told her that Quad uses her. Heavenly also felt like Quad dumped her when she started hanging out with Phaedra Parks more. While Quad’s fans accused Heavenly of being a fake friend herself, Heavenly said Quad only had herself to blame for being pushed out.
The conversations about Quad’s situation made many “Married to Medicine” fans remember Mariah Huq‘s exit from the show. She was also voted out despite being the show’s creator and an executive producer. When the show first started, Quad and Mariah were best friends. However, their friendship began to unravel as both women were told the other was talking behind their backs. At the height of their feud, Mariah alleged Quad slept with her brother-in-law. And Quad accused Mariah of being on drugs.
Mariah Huq said Sweet Tea and Quad Webb are both being treated unfairly by their costars.
Carlos King recently interviewed Mariah on his YouTube channel. She opened up about being pushed off the show she created. She also expressed her feelings about how Quad and Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford are treated.
“Like you should be able to talk to who you want to talk to but they come against you. And they say hey, we’re not talking to her. I can’t even imagine what Miss Sweet Tea is going through because, in their minds, they’ve already decided this lady is not going to be a part of our group moving forward, to me, from what I see so far. And I don’t even watch it like that. Just from the snippets I see, she’s fighting a war she’s already lost and it’s not fair to her.”
When Carlos asked if Quad was just receiving her karma, Mariah answered, “I don’t think Quad deserves any more karma than the rest of those ladies. I think they’re all the same. And I think that they’re going to stab each other in the back, so I don’t know. I don’t know if that was her karma. Karma or not, I know the way in which they did it wasn’t right. See I don’t like to play games like that. Don’t fly me out to a place…this still is my job and now they’re messing with the girl’s money. When they went to the per-episodic fee stuff, you gotta think of what they’re doing. They’re icing her out so she can’t make a certain amount of money…what I see it as.”
Mariah Huq alleged the producers used her costars to push out the people they wanted off of the show.
She continued, “When they get to when they start plotting and planning and trying to push other people out…I don’t know if it’s Quad’s karma but I think that she’s getting a dose of her own medicine with the whole voting out ****. They should have never started that. And I’ve always said, don’t allow them to do certain things to me. I said this at the beginning because it’s going to be a part of the DNA of the show. Once they do it to me, they gonna do it to you, too. I hated the whole voting out thing. Why are you voting people out?”
A surprised Carlos asked, “So that was really happening behind the scenes?”
Mariah responded, “Yeah. When they were ready for somebody to go, they would do it through the women.”
She also shared her theory for why her former cast members would allegedly go with pushing people out, “I guess they felt like whoever was signing the checks…like they want to stay on and keep getting a check. But they have more power in numbers when they stick together and stick for what is right. You gotta have integrity in some of this stuff. You really, truly do. And sometimes it means sitting down and missing a season. It’s okay because if you’re good, it’s gonna come back. But you gotta know your worth and your power. And I don’t think that they’re doing that. I really, really don’t.”
Certain reality shows are in trouble because cast members are icing out those they don’t like.
Carlos said he’s seeing the same thing happen on multiple reality shows right now, including “Real Housewives of Potomac” and “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.”
“What’s happening in unscripted is this mob mentality. I’m seeing it on Salt Lake City, I’m seeing it on Potomac, it’s like you need to go. And what they do is they ice you out.”
He added, “But that to me would be the destruction of the show.”
Mariah said she thinks Sweet Tea is up next and Buffie Purselle was also a victim.
“I think they’re doing it more to Sweet Tea, I think they did it to Buffie, I think they kind of iced her out. Why is Buffie not…”
Carlos then said, “I liked Buffie on the show.”
Sweet Tea and Mariah Huq shared strong feelings about Dr. Jackie.
Mariah questioned if Buffie was removed because she called out Jackie for her “infertile” comment.
“Like why was she…think about it, because she went against Jackie?”
This results in Carlos focusing on Jackie, “I wanna hear your opinion. I heard the real villain on the show is Dr. Jackie.”
Mariah said, “Absolutely. Abso-huqing-lutely. Yeah.”
The interview ends on a cliffhanger about Jackie. Part 2 will be uploaded next Tuesday.
In related news, Sweet Tea will be going off on Jackie on the next episode of “Married to Medicine.” In the trailer, she takes issue with everyone treating Jackie and Curtis *** with kid’s gloves in Hilton Head. When Tea questions why Jackie is rarely in the hot seat, it’s pretty much on from there.
Sweet Tea has also been calling out what she feels is unfairness by the cast and fans on social media. She pointed out that Jackie, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, and Dr. Simone Whitmore have been able to mock her age and refer to her as a little girl (Tea is in her 30s, served time in the military, and has a six-figure career currently as a contractor of the government). But when she claps back and calls them old ladies, everyone is outraged. Yet, no one has called out the doctors for mocking a woman in her 30s.
The day ones who paid close attention know Jackie is a piece of work. It’s so disgusting how they treat her like some godly being. She’s nothing of the sort and a very flawed mean girl. Jackie and Heavenly are the meanest and contribute the least in my opinion. Sweet Tea is someone I really like. She’s from my generation and sticks up for herself. But I really miss Mariah. Quad and Mariah were the show. Producers hated that and it’s been downhill since they broke up that friendship.
The wives made the show to me too. But they want the doctors to be the faces of M2M when they’re the least interesting. We still don’t know much about Heavenly and Damon’s marriage and it’s been 10 seasons. All Jackie gave us was Brat and Judy scenes and letting Simone and Heavenly argue over her. Boring. The interactions between Tea and Quad were the most entertaining scenes all season.
💯
This interview was so good! Married to Medicine will never be good again because they are committed to kicking off anyone who refuses to be treated like trash by Jackie and Heavenly. I just don’t even care anymore. They never listen to the fans anyway. I don’t see the point in watching. It peaked years ago.
Mariah is the goat. They killed this show the moment they pushed her out. Mariah fought for them all to be paid the same and Jackie didn’t want that. Notice Jackie became the highest paid once Mariah was pushed out. The math ain’t hard to do. Jackie is also the ringleader behind Quad’s firing. Heavenly snitched on her. I can’t wait to see Sweet Tea cuss her pretentious and snake a-s out. How the f-ck do you call a military vet and 30 something year old woman a little girl like you can’t be dragged? They think doctors are the only people worthy of respect. Jackie’s karma is well overdue.
Jackie got even stiffer & more phony after Curtis stepped out on her azz, she been tongue slick on these women evey since.
I have always said and thought Jackie is NOT NICE and she gets the other ladies ( now only Heavenly) to do her dirty work. When the show first started you saw her elistist and classist attitude towards Heavenly, Quad, and Toya. If you sit back and rewatch all the old shows, any person who offends Jackie will become the target of bullying, isolation, and meanness of the other ladies. It started with Mariah because she had to much control/influence. Then Toya became the target because she said Jackie was partly to blame because Curtis cheated. Next it was Simone when she wouldn’t validate or justify Jackie’s behavior toward Buffie and the comment about her fertility. Then it was Quad when she said she never knew sisterhood until she met the ladies from her canceled show.
Then it was Contessa when she refused to join in with the gang up of Simone.
Jackie has been a sneaky link from the beginning. She was the one who said Quad didn’t belong in the 1st season. Jackie was the one who talked about Toya’s and Heavenly weight, (Heavenly had weight loss surgery afterwards). Jackie has been the one every season to make ungly, mean, disrespectful comments about other women. The comments about Buffie were over the top and she always acts as she hasn’t said anything wrong. When ever anyone else says anything about the things Jackie says or does Heavenly attacks. In the last episode Simone and Toya both said Jackie can speak for herself she doesn’t need attack Heavenly. Jackie is the classic rock thrower and hides her hands. When Cecil was flirty with his golf buddy, they talked and discussed it, but when Curtis was caught at the hotel with his mistress it was glossed over quickly because Jackie didn’t want to talk about it. Things seem to go the way Jackie benefits.
Tbh, I used to like Dr. Jackie. She didn’t swear, act wild when confronting someone, and she carried herself with respect. NOW, I can barely stand her. I agree with Mariah. Jackie is the REAL VILLAIN. And as for Sweet Tea, I agree. They need to hold Jackie to the same standards as they hold the rest of the group.
I used to like Dr Jackie but she is very condescending and demeaning in the way she treats the wives who are not doctors. She was very disrespectful towards Sweet Tea in tonight’s episode. All of women cast are do not treat Sweet Tea as their equal. Didnt like the way they ousted Quad
Sweet Tea’s reaction was uncalled and unnecessary.
I am so glad that you ladies see Jackie for who she really is. She wouldn’t even look at Mariah’s drug test result. She didn’t want to know the truth because she didn’t want to have to support Mariah. I hate that Mariah is off the show. After all, the show was her idea. Jackie could have been a big support for Mariah that day by simply looking at the test result. I just couldn’t believe that she would not even LOOK. That said a lot about Jackie. That’s the day I had a lot of dislike and disrespect for her. And by the way, I believed Mariah when she said that she does not do drugs even before the test result came out. I also believed her when she said that Quad slept with her brother-in-law. I think Quad knows how to play the part (tears and all) to get the ladies on her side, and Heavenly is the most gullible of all in believing what she said about Mariah. Thank God for people like Toya and Eugene who are not afraid to call out right when it’s right and wrong when it’s wrong. Kudos to you! On another topic about Jackie, I could not believe my ears when she announced publicly Buffie’s issue with infertility. And the crazy part is that Jackie couldn’t understand what she had done wrong. Didn’t HIPAA even come to her mind, let alone the fact that what she did was just totally totally so inappropriate.
