Robyn Dixon and Candiace Dillard Bassett’s fallout was a hot topic on the recent episode of RHOP.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” stars Candiace Dillard Bassett and Robyn Dixon clashed during the recent episode. Robyn is upset about some of the things Candiace posted on X and said during an interview. Candiace believes Robyn used Chris Bassett to avoid discussing Juan Dixon‘s controversies. Robyn denied this and said Candiace was being ridiculous to suggest such a thing. She has since backed off from their friendship because she feels betrayed by Candiace. When Candiace tried to talk things out with Robyn, Robyn didn’t want to hear anything she had to say. She went on to say that there is no way she can ever be on good terms with Candiace again.
Gizelle Bryant expressed similar feelings about Candiace as well. She said Candiace’s comments about privilege and colorism resulted in her receiving death threats. So she will never forgive Candiace for what she said at the reunion.
Well, Carlos King took to YouTube to vent about the latest episode of “Real Housewives of Potomac.” He believes Candiace is being iced out of the show.
“I’m gonna say it and it is what it is. This season was to take down Candiace. This season was to make Candiace feel so uncomfortable that she had no choice but to either leave the show or get fired. This entire season is about icing Candiace out. They don’t want Candiace there anymore. And I’m this close to saying they probably don’t want Wendy there anymore either.”
He added, “And I need you guys to watch this show the way I watch it, they don’t want Candiace there. That’s why they’re constantly, constantly, constantly, constantly giving us flashbacks of Candiace calling Gizelle a white woman, ‘With your white woman looking ***.’ They keep playing it over and over.”
The icing-out strategy is becoming popular over at Bravo?
Carlos said that producers don’t air flashbacks of Robyn saying she would spill her tea on Patreon.
“Y’all don’t play the fact that Robyn said she would rather give her real-life story to her Patreon account versus the show y’all pay her on. Y’all don’t play that at all.”
Carlos said what is happening has been done multiple times.
“Y’all are icing out Candiace the way they iced out Monique, the way ‘Married to Medicine’ iced out Mariah and now they’re doing it to Quad. What you guys are witnessing is the takedown of Candiace. They don’t want Candiace there. And because that franchise is built off of friendships…the excuse is going to be, ‘Well, Candiace nobody wanted to film with you anymore. You don’t have a connection with these girls so you have to go.’ That’s why Candiace is looking so uncomfortable in scenes.”
Ashley Darby was put on blast.
He expressed he doesn’t think Ashley Darby is trustworthy.
“Candiace knows that Ashley, and Robyn, and Gizelle are purposely icing her out. I told y’all ad nauseam, Ashley is no one’s friend.”
Carlos continued, “Ashley is a plant. Ashley is a producer’s plant. Ashley is only there to do what the producers say and go home with her two kids, breast-feed them, have Face-Time with Perdue Chicken, her ex-husband…”
And he had some words for Robyn, too.
“You got more smoke for Candiace than you do your own husband. That’s why it’s weird to me…and if you can forgive Ashley for stepping into your marital woes where you left Monique’s party Season 2 because of that, why can’t you forgive Candiace? Oh because your boss Gizelle said not to. Gizelle is in charge of the girls. Am I saying something that isn’t obvious? That’s why you got Nneka hop scotching on Team Gizelle.”
When his followers said Gizelle needed to be fired, Carlos said, “Gizelle is never getting fired. We all know she’s their favorite.”
Candiace Dillard Bassett agrees with Carlos King’s theory.
He also had some words for Dr. Simone Whitmore after a supporter alleged she referred to him as a blogger on “Watch What Happens Live.”
“Dr. Simone just called you a blogger. That’s ok Dr. Simone. That’s fine Dr. Simone. Dr. Simone, you can say whatever you want to get some attention baby because you’re not getting any attention on that show. Okay? So you can call me what you want…you’re not getting any attention on the show and you’re an OG. ”
He added, “No one talks about Dr. Simone on ‘Married to Medicine.’ No one, no one. No one cares about anything Dr. Simone has to say. No one cares what you have to scream on your own show chile. So you calling me a blogger is not offensive to me, baby.”
Interestingly enough, Candiace expressed similar sentiments on X. A fan of the show wrote, “So clearly Gizelle, Ashley, and Robyn are trying to axe @TherealCANDIACE OFF this show. Stop it already, especially with the stunt that Robyn pulled last season. #RHOP @BravoTV”
Candiace responded, “Let’s just call a spade a spade. THIS is what ‘trying to get you fired’ looks like. It’s clear as day and weak and tired.”
I don’t always agree but he was on point here. All this bullying and icing people out has be wanting to quit Bravo shows.
I concur with both your assessment of the Candiace situation. It is glaringly evident what those 3 privilege broads who have nothing going for themselves but being on this 3rd rate reality show. You went to Austin Texas as your cast trip….how boring was that. Carlos hit the nail hard and right on this one. Stupid Robyn choice to make Candiace husband a non story line when she had a huge blister on her ass she was hiding. She called Juan to vent and he didn’t even care. Gizelle what’s your story line…your daughter going off to college.who cares? Bravo should make you work for your money and should have fired Robyn. Ashley is a dumb ass over age twerk queen in boots shorts. She brings nothing to the show now but bones. Rhop not interesting this season. Mia just proved what she always was a hooked gold digger. Her husband threw his life away for this prize and look what he got

Bravo is sneaky!!! Apparently, this lawsuit Michael filed is not just naming Candice it’s also naming Bravo and NBC Universal. From what I’m hearing around the DMV there is probably going to be a settlement because the person Candice was talking about isn’t willing to come forward and deposed. If that’s true NBC is going to settle and Candice may be part of the deal. My guess is that they are looking to minimize Candice’s part.
Robyn is a hypocrite 🙄. She a sad woman that will do and accept anything to be with Juan. She’s so fake 🙄. She did allow the lies to be spread about Chris in order to keep the heat off herself. She set down with Candice and Chris to pretend she was on their side. When all the time she knew she and Gizzle were hiding the truth about Juan. Also to make money on their show. Robyn should have been gone a long time ago. They want to believe the things Neeka is saying about Wendy because they don’t like Wendy. Gizzle got upset because she looked like a fool when Monique took her down. Candace had every right to say what she said about Gizzle. She tried to mess with Candice marriage and thought it was OK to say those lies. They even started the season off saying they believed the lady that was lying about Chris. Even when all other outlets said no. Then the lady confessed she was lying. They never apologized.

It looks like his shows on Own are working. He’s got 3 and building. Lamh is a Saturday night power house. I’m sure it would demolish rhop in rating if they went head to head. Unfortunately he’s right. Andy Cohen and Bravo make money its a machine that’s turned into a monster and as viewers we watch people participate in the destruction of their lives. Somethings very unsettling about it all.
Candace started last season thinking she was all that with her 1 hot mess song. She tried to bring “smoke” at the reunion show and she acted like she enjoyed being labeled by some, as the “Jr. Queen of read” (NeNe is the Queen)! Now, because nobody is hyping her up and sick of the triangle tissue crying foolery, it’s woe it’s me and “they are trying to ice me out”….stay out of the kitchen if you can’t handle the heat!

Dont care what happens to any of them after what they did to Monique. Wendy just wanted a seat at the table, Robin just followed Gizelle and Gizelle didnt like her since she said she had 4 houses. The thing is, they participate in this foolishness and then cry when its done to them. Candiace is the only one that had grounds to not want to deal with Monique. We no good and well she is wasn’t a threat or she would have knocked Gizelle out a long time ago
Candice has been causing problems with that foul mouth of hers for a long time, and Carlos must not have anything else to do, he needs to stop dipping and focus on his love and marriage network. Candice brought this on herself, she isn’t even getting half of what she deserves.
Monique has nothing to do with this and left the show because she’s rich and she can leave a job she no longer wants. She was not fired so I’m not sure why she’s being brought up in these comments. Anytime a certain group of cast members have the power to remove one person from a show, that is a problem. And it always kills off a show. So let Gizelle and Robyn play this game. They will end up being the biggest losers in the end.
Candice didn’t have a problem with it when she and the rest were doing it to Monique or even when they tried with Karen, for not going along with it when they were doing to Monique.
Carlos is such a gossip monger. He is too silly for anything he says to matter. Candiace deserves all the ice she gets.
