Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford’s rookie season of Married 2 Med has been challenging.
Part 2 of the “Married to Medicine” Season 10 reunion had some controversial moments. Of course, this isn’t surprising considering the drama that led up to it. Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford joined the cast with encouragement from Dr. Heavenly Kimes and Dr. Jackie Walters. At the time, Sweet Tea was engaged to Dr. Gregory Lunceford. Things seemed peaceful, even Quad Webb congratulated the couple on their engagement on Instagram. However, Quad eventually revealed she wasn’t told the couple would be joining the cast. She had to find out from the blogs and social media. Despite this, Quad and Sweet Tea didn’t clash when filming began. Sweet Tea’s heated moments took place with Jackie and Heavenly instead.
Although Sweet Tea and Quad didn’t have intense on-screen moments during the season, Quad said shady things on “Watch What Happens Live” while seated beside Heavenly. She made fun of how Tea spoke and insinuated she wasn’t smart enough to fit in with the group. She and Heavenly also accused Sweet Tea of wearing fake designer clothes.
As the season went on, Heavenly told Carlos King that she only encouraged Sweet Tea to be on “Married to Medicine” for laughs and to be “read” by Quad.
Sweet Tea believes Dr. Heavenly Kimes tried to instigate a beef between her and Quad Webb?
At the reunion, Andy Cohen read a fan’s question for Quad. The person wondered why Quad shaded Sweet Tea on WWHL when they haven’t had issues. Quad didn’t address her shade and said she only speaks of Sweet Tea when asked. Sweet Tea strongly disagreed. She pointed out Quad has been shady on social media as well. Frustrated by the exchange, Sweet Tea yelled for Quad to move on since she’d been divorced from Gregory for years now.

Some “Married to Medicine” fans missed Quad’s shady moments, so Sweet Tea took to Instagram to post the receipts.

In the caption, she wrote:
Let me be clear: my husband’s ex and I have no “beef.” We didn’t know each other before I joined this show, and we still don’t know each other. The drama that unfolded on the reunion stage was fueled by a particular cast member who planted lies to manipulate the situation negatively for entertainment. I want to emphasize that from where I am standing my husband’s ex-wife and I have no reason to be at odds. I have neither done nor said anything negative to or about her even in the face of all the negative things that have been said to ridicule me for joining the friend group my husband was still very much a part of behind the scenes.

I think the fans just need to be real and admit most of the women on this show are mean girls and bullies. There is no justification for how Sweet Tea has been treated by any of these people. Quad shaded her but didn’t dare come for the people who actually took away her checks? They get paid per episode. So Heavenly, Jackie, Simone, and Toya did much worse by kicking her out. She only did like 5 episodes. Those are the people she needs to be bucking up at. Quad is definitely in her clown era. So embarrassing.
They are also pick me females and male identified. So bullying a younger black woman over a man is all they want to do. This show stinks.
My thoughts exactly, Quad has made herself look cheap and dumb. She has no real beef with Sweet Tea. Who cares she was married to him, she isn’t anymore, he has a young fresh faced wife & appears to be happy. Get over it cause Quad looks bitter & jealous. Like a clown exactly.
They tried to kick her out, but she will be back next season I Quad heavenly is a troublemaker she act just like Pedra shady as f-ck
Oh, and Heavenly is such a nasty and evil woman. Heavenly and Damon think they are untouchable. But God humbles all. Trust and believe.
Damon is so annoying, behaving as if he is above everybody else.
Quad wanted so much sympathy when she was iced out but a victim she will never be. I like Sweet Tea because she is real. One day she’s going to beat Heavenly’s a-s. She’s a Gemini and military vet. Watch and see.
This season was such a disaster.
Sweet Tea should really stop talking and really listen before responding. I watched Heavenly say if I was in this position and Sweet Tea kept talking mess. She triggered Heavenly to go off and like my mama told me,” You put yourself in a grown woman place, you handle it.” Sweet Tea, try listening, ask questions then speak.
Give Heavenly the same advice too. She opens her mouth and spills a lot of rubbish so many times….
See. I think they thought Tea was just some dumb bunny that Dr. G picked up. She was Toya’s cousin so she must be dumb (although Toya has a college degree as well). Tee is a military vet and an engineer and when they saw they couldn’t shake her they lashed out in other ways. Trying to bully her on her looks, dress, and when those ploys didn’t work Heavenly went fur the jugular and lied on her husband.
Heavenly admitting she only invited Tea on the show for a set-up is disgusting!!!! Why is this woman allowed to do such things??? Purposefully lying on SM saying Dr. G is a pedophile??? Then retracting saying she was just “mad at his wife”. Translation = you couldn’t find anything bad to say about her so you went after her husband. Nothing there so you’ll lie???? Is this an ok thing to do now?
So let me get this right. Phaedra can tell a lie and get fired. Jackie can admonish BW in her actual role on video, Quad can say that Toya and her husband set people’s houses to be robbed, Quad can say someone is on drugs and when they prove it’s not true nothing and Heavenly can outright accuse someone of something so vulgar it gets people locked up and cancelled on the daily but Simone raises her voice (whether you think it was nice or not) about something that we all know that happened and people lose their minds and say they sick of Simone and she needs to go? Tea is boring and can’t dress and she needs to go?
This is why the reunion’s ratings were the highest for the season. I certainly will not invest 1 hour of my time for this foolishness.
Leateasha didn’t react how Heavenly, Jackie and Quad thought she would. They were so sure that she was a dumb pumpkin would fold and provide they with laughs. Quad keeps coming for everyone except the Heavenly and Jackie who are the ones who came for her coins. Quad and Sweet Tea don’t have any reason to have problems
Quad divorced Dr. G. years ago. Dr. G has remained friends with them. Which is how the ladies knew about Sweet Tea. Proof that Quad is only around for camera time.
Sweet Tea has turned out to be more than Heavenly, Jackie and Quad thought she would be. Sweet Tea was not simple dumb hick they assumed. Sweet Tea fought back proving that she wasn’t the simp they hoped for. She let them know that they were the joke, not her. Quad is always going for who she feels is the weak link. Where is the heat for Heavenly and Jackie who let to her being benched?
