Nneka Ihim is out.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” fans have strong opinions about the reality show’s latest season. Many have taken to social media to call out suspected colorism. They believe Wendy Osefo and Candiace Dillard Bassett are treated unfairly. In their opinion, Candiace and Wendy are held to different standards from their light-skinned counterparts. So it has been hard for them to watch RHOP. However, some recent announcements may make them reconsider. Robyn Dixon was fired. She confirmed such on the “Reasonably Shady” podcast. The news comes as some have questioned why Robyn was not reprimanded for not addressing Juan Dixon’s hotel happenings on the show last season. Now it’s looking as if Nneka Ihim will not be around either.
As we reported, Nneka clashed with Wendy during her rookie season. In fact, an Essence Magazine editor said producers choosing to air this was culturally insensitive to the Nigerian community. Wendy shared the same perspective and told Nneka she took things too far. Nneka eventually apologized to Wendy for calling her mother a witch. However, it was clear that the damage was done. And while Wendy was willing to be cordial to Nneka, they were unlikely to develop a friendship.
Well, the Jasmine Brand is reporting Nneka has been fired. Some critics of RHOP wonder if Ashley Darby is also on the chopping block. She accidentally set up Wendy and Nneka’s bad blood by misconstruing a past conversation.
Candiace Dillard Bassett is pregnant.
In related news, Candiace made an announcement herself earlier today. She and Chris Bassett are expecting their first child together. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Candiace confirmed she quit the show to ensure a peaceful pregnancy.
“I wanted the space around us and around our child to feel peaceful and to feel free and to feel positive…without any added pressure, good, bad or indifferent from the show. I was not confident that I could have that in the space that the show exists in, currently. It was kind of a no-brainer.”

So let me understand- Candiace and Wendy get a pass for their nastiness ? Both of them have stirred things up horribly since they landed. Both of them use their mouths to belittle, and demean others. Both of them deflect while being faced with their behavior and superior attitudes , while they play victim. Puhleeze !!

Congratulations to both C & C 🎉 – you both will be great parents! I’m sure your sister & mom are excited too! I really like Chris and I didn’t like the way Giselle came for him – trying to make him look bad! Well, it didn’t work because we watch the show and we can see! Chris has always been a gentleman (something some of the other women don’t have) – oops, did I type that? It’s true – Giselle’s past relationships were with real assholes so there’s that! Robins husband has showed his true colors, Ashley’s still clinging on to her husband (but I get that – toddlers are involved) but Candace’s man was all about her & their marriage! Don’t be hating; just try to be more selective in choosing your next boo! Candace, you really do need to tone down your temper cuz you gonna get hurt messing with the wrong person! People are crazy out here – you are a small women & your mouth is going to get you in trouble (on the show or off)! I adore you, but let’s be real – you don’t have enough strength to kick anyone’s butt! The repercussions can be drastic – and now you’re gonna be a mom, a real role model! Shouldn’t be carrying on like that as a mom! For real!

Idk I think Candiace just expects other adults to understand how the law works. For some reason you lot understand Gizelle can say what she pleases and not be touched, but that doesn’t extend to the dark skinned women. What gives? Could it be colorism? Hmm. But I’ll make it plain for you today, you have no right to put your hands on anyone if they did not touch you first. The law doesn’t care about your hurt feelings ma’am. Keep your hands to yourself or get a mugshot and criminal record. Hope this helps
Congratulations to Chris and Candiace.. I hate to see Nneka and Candiace go. But then again, that show isn’t looking for educated women with class. Not to mention Nneka is an attorney. She’s on the quiet side, but please believe she see where there is potential for law suits. I love Karen, Mia and Charrisse, who also exhibits class. Wendy used to be one of my Favorites, but she has become too Hollywood and stuck up. I pray all the remaining married cast marriages survive by being on television..
