Summer goes off, and Noelle gets fed up with Summer’s outbursts.
In last night’s “Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard,” Noelle and Summer continue their talk once Summer calms down after her tirade, which includes pushing Noelle. A fed-up Summer tells Noelle that Bria and Shanice are “her anchors” now, referring to the fact that she doesn’t feel that Noelle is her friend. This shocks Noelle, who tells Summer she’s trying to be friends with them and Summer.
As they talk, Bria and Shanice listen on from Shanice’s bedroom.
Despite being told off by Summer, Noelle still tries to break through, asking Summer what’s happening to her. Finally, Summer tells Noelle she’s tired of Bria making her feel crazy. Nothing more is said, and Summer excuses Noelle from her room. This makes Noelle wonder what’s going on with her.
When Sumer leaves the room, Summer vents to Jasmine and Jordan about what happened in her room. They talk well into the morning, and Summer pours her heart onto them. Noelle hears Summer pouring her heart onto Jordan and Jasmine and goes on to tell Bria and Shanice what’s going on.
Summer and Noelle have another one-on-one talk when the sun comes up later in the day. Here, Summer tells Noelle that she is drunk and angry at Bria. Summer says Noelle was just on the receiving end of her anger, fueled by drunkenness. She also apologizes to Noelle for putting her hands on her. But Noelle says Summer comes off as a spicy and mean drunk.
They both cry when Noelle expresses herself, saying she needs space in their friendship. Despite hitting it off immediately, Noelle sees Summer’s “true colors” and can’t forget how she’s hurt her. Meanwhile, Amir’s girlfriend Natalie recaps what happened with the ladies with Jordan and Preston’s boyfriend Donald.
Amir apologizes to Mariah.
As this happens, Nick has quite a bit going on. First, he runs a 5K race and finishes 5th out of 100 runners. This is special to him because his line brother, who was #5 on his pledge line, passed away. When he returns to the house, he gets into drill sergeant mode, hosting a house meeting to divvy out directions to clean up.
Bria isn’t interested in helping because she says no one helped out for her event, despite producers showing a flashback of others in the house helping her set up for the party. Bria’s frustrated because her boyfriend Simon is frustrated he can’t stay too long.
Back at the meeting, Nick expresses his frustration that no one in the house showed up to cheer him on at the race. Despite this, Nick issues his marching orders, and everyone cleans up. As this goes on, Nick’s girlfriend, Tasia, is on her way to the house. She eventually arrives while they are cleaning up.
Eventually, the event begins, and Tasia is there with her friends. Everyone is dressed in their best outfits. Mariah shows up at the event. After greeting everyone, Mariah pulls Amir aside to speak about what happened with the laundry last season. Mariah tells Amir that she wants an apology and for him to take accountability for what happened last summer. After all, he is the one who mixed her belongings with Bria’s dog items. Amir apologizes but says he isn’t responsible for Mariah pushing Bria.
Simon angers Bria with a unique party costume.
Later, Natalie gets frustrated with Amir after Amir openly reacts to someone at the party who looks similar to Jordan, complimenting her on the wig. Jordan is actually the DJ for the event. Amir replies to Natalie that the women in the house “got like six wigs.”
Finally, Nick has his guests outside for a special toast. He dedicates the event to his line brother, who attended school with him at Tuskegee.
Towards the end of the party, Summer, who decided she wasn’t drinking, felt exhausted being around everyone after the drama she had the night before and goes to bed. Ready to have a good time, Simon puts on his flamingo costume, which infuriates Bria. Bria demands Simon take the pants off and threatens to end their relationship if he doesn’t comply.
What are your thoughts about the episode?
Natalie is a no for me. Summer needs a season off.
Nick won me over. I’m not here for them trying to ruin his relationship next episode.
I’m not understanding why Summer hasn’t been kicked out for getting violent twice when Mariah was kicked out for pushing Bria.
