Aikisha sets up a “Collective Correction” to get the collective together.
The season premiere of “Belle Collective” started with the collective fractured. Most of the ladies aren’t talking and clashed during last season’s reunion. Aikisha is back in Jackson, MS, to view a property she’s been interested in purchasing. SoGucci stops by the office, and they catch up. Aikisha and Gucci go over who they don’t talk to, and Gucci brings up her hearing. She pressed charges against Selena regarding their altercation last season. Gucci mentions that Latrice and Tambra showed up on Selena’s side to the hearing. Aikisha comes up with the idea of a “Collective Correction” sit down for them to come together and hash out their issues.
Meanwhile, Latrice is at her restaurant and condo building, which is under construction. Selena stops by, and they catch up. Selena says she and Latrice are good friends, and Latrice wants to bring Selena into the collective. She’s nervous about it because of what happened with her, Lateshia, and Marie at the reunion. The Correction sit-down comes up, and if Tambra shows up, Latrice will attend. Selena is also engaged. They’ve been together for four years, and she’s happy.
Next, Marie is with her cousins Sue and Maria. A conversation about a birthday party invite leads to a tense moment between them. Marie employs her cousins at her accounting firm. Another cousin isn’t on good terms with Marie. Marie says in her green screen interview she changed this cousin’s life when she moved from Dallas to Jackson. She feels all her cousins are “stuck in a rut” and taking it out on her, blocking their blessings. They reveal they view Marie as someone who looks down on them.
The ladies attend the “Collective Correction.”
Later on, everyone except Marie shows up to the “Collective Correction.” Marie had a business event. In the first part, Aikisha, Latrice, and Lateshia discuss Glenn and Lakeshia allegedly setting Aikisha’s husband, Willie, up on social media. Latrice informed Aikisha of a scheme where they would have someone DM Willie and flirt with him. Lateshia denied it, but Aikisha believed Latrice.
Tambra and SoGucci, later on, discuss Tambra attending the court hearing regarding Selena. SoGucci says Tambra told JJ she was “subpoenaed.” However, Tambra says she was just asked by an attorney involved to show up, and she did. Gucci says she knows where Tambra now stands regarding her.
Latrice says she did not set up Gucci when she invited Selena to her event. Aikisha then turns the conversation to Larice and Cliff. Latrice believes Aikisha and the others inserted themselves into her marriage. She didn’t care for them suspecting that Cliff was abusive. Overall, the ladies think they could talk out their issues, and they set up one-on-one conversations for later on. For right now, it feels as if Aikisha’s sit-down wasn’t a disaster.
Antoinette returns.
Lastly, Dr. Antoinette returns to the show. She’s in her dental office when Latrice stops by for an appointment and cleaning. Latrice recaps what’s happening with the ladies, saying she doesn’t trust Lateshia. Antoinette feels a way about Lateshia because she was accused of flirting with Glenn in season one. This is something Antoinette despises. She also reveals that “she loses money” when she’s away from her office and is in rooms with the belles.
The episode ends with Latrice inviting Antoinette to an event with the ladies. Antoinette agrees because she has plenty to get off her chest with Lateshia.
