Carlos King’s recent interview with Sogucci Williams has “Belle Collective” fans talking.
Carlos King has been a hot topic on social media thanks to his recent interview with Sophia Sogucci Williams on his YouTube channel. Sogucci told Carlos that bringing Selena Johnson on the show made her feel unprotected. As we reported, Selena and Sogucci had an altercation during the previous season. Sogucci was granted a no-contact order, which JJ Williams said he supported.
The interview is no longer available on Carlos’ YouTube channel. But that hasn’t stopped “Belle Collective” fans from discussing the matter. Interestingly enough, Sogucci has since done another interview with Millichun TV addressing the awkward moment she had with Carlos.
Millichun asked, “So when Carlos said you need to take accountability, is he talking about…we have to go back to this altercation I guess. Is that what he’s talking about? Your accountability in the altercation?”
Sogucci answered, “I was like what are you talking about Carlos? I’ve taken my accountability and I’m not sure what he’s…I don’t know, I’ve taken accountability so that’s why I’m coming to you for you to acknowledge how I feel. Don’t just not acknowledge it. You don’t even have to apologize. And I wasn’t disrespectful to him or anything.”
Sogucci Williams and Carlos King haven’t spoken since the interview.
She went on to say she was wrong in how she went about things with Selena on the day of the altercation. And at this point, she believes they were both wrong. And what matters now is focusing on healing their blended family.
Millichun also read some questions from her subscribers and fellow content creators. YouTuber Here 4 Hot Tea asked if Sogucci and Carlos spoke after the controversial interview.
Sogucci answered, “No…It was like a moment of silence and x’d off, bye.”
Millichun said, “Oh, so he’s p*ssed, p*ssed.”
Sogucci responded, “And I didn’t think…yeah, I answered the question. No, we didn’t talk.”
Millichun then asked, “How did you feel when he was cutting you off?”
Sogucci said, “I kind of sit back in my chair like, really? Let me at least say what I have to say. I was doing it in a respectful way. I wasn’t doing the black girl roll and this…it wasn’t about hey Carlos I’m calling you out. It was my true feelings…it just came out.”
The show may have been more harmful than helpful in Sogucci’s opinion. “I will not put a show above my family. My family is not where it used to be because of this. It’s not and…I can put some of the blame on the show,” she says.
She continued, “If it had not been any cameras, it would have went differently.”
As far as Carlos saying that Sogucci was told Selena was joining the show, Sogucci once again denied that this was the case.
“And it really shocked me that, and I’m just gon be honest, that he said he had a conversation with me. I’m not for sure if he got brain fog or I don’t know. But he didn’t let me know that. He didn’t let me know. I’m not for sure why. Even if he would have said Gucci you right, I should have let you know, but she’s here now; I would have accepted that better than saying, no, yes I had a conversation with you.”
When Sogucci was asked if she thought that Carlos may do something to punish her, Sogucci said it was possible.
“It crossed my mind. I hope he’s not the person that wants to get back. But I do now know that he may. He may.”
She added, “And the season’s already done. Maybe he can go in and edit the last parts of the reunion…but it still wouldn’t be fair to me. I may be penalized for voicing my opinion but that’s how I felt in that moment. Where’s the loyalty? I was there first.”
Yikes. Carlos better get it together immediately. I think he thinks he’s too big to fail but no one is. Sogucci is like the 7th black woman to call him out.
Exactly! He did the same thing to Kandi when he brought her daughter’s dad on the show and blindsided her the same! His time is coming,just like the rest of them.
Oh he’s definitely going to go after her now. Nothing but bad edits until she quits the show.
If SoGucci is worried about Carlos getting back at her and she knows that he is petty as he’ll, stop doing interviews about it. Stop giving him air.
Sogucci also said they don’t get paid much to do Belle Collective. Winter and Monique said the same thing about LAMDC. What is Kingdom Reign doing over there?!
The loyalty lies where the money is at the end of the day. Salena has fans ( from the other show she was on that are now watching the show because she is on it. It’s not fair, but it is true. Sophia ( what sogucci is asking to be called now) does not come with a built-in fan base.
