Dr. Simone Whitmore Calls Porsha Williams a Mean Girl in Response to Phaedra Parks’ Comments

The drama on “Married to Medicine” isn’t landing with a lot of fans.

The cast of “Married to Medicine” is receiving backlash on social media for the current season. Many didn’t appreciate how Phaedra Parks was treated during her second season on the show. Dr. Heavenly Kimes invited Apollo Nida to the couples’ trip. Although he originally told Heavenly his now estranged wife Sherien Copes wouldn’t be coming with him, both came to Key West, Florida. Phaedra also brought a plus one. She met Cheick at Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford‘s speed dating event. While getting to know each other, Cheick told Phaedra he knew Apollo. They figured this wouldn’t be a problem considering Apollo and Phaedra divorced several years ago. However, it was indeed a problem according to Sherien and Apollo.

Phaedra didn’t see the need to care about offending her ex and his estranged wife. She told producers that Sherien was Apollo’s mistress while she was pregnant with their youngest.

After Apollo and Sherien attempted to call out Phaedra for dating Cheick, she returned home on a private jet. Dr. Jackie Walters tried to talk Phaedra into staying. However, Phaedra was hearing none of that. She told Jackie that “some people can be played with,” but she is not one of them. Phaedra also told Jackie that the issue with the show is OGs are mean girls.

Dr. Simone Whitmore said Porsha Williams is a mean girl.

During a green screen interview, Phaedra had even more to say. According to Phaedra, new people don’t last on “Married to Medicine” because the vets treat them poorly. Interestingly enough, former “Married to Medicine” cast member Audra Curry said something similar. Last season, Quad Webb said she was being iced out of the show.  She now understands how Mariah Huq felt. And a few days ago, “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Gizelle Bryant said she was no longer enjoying the show because the way Phaedra was done was horrible.

Regardless, Jackie and the others don’t see themselves as mean girls. Dr. Simone Whitmore was asked about this when she recently appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” with Stacey Rusch.

Simone said, “I think Phaedra gave us an unnecessary and unfit hard time.”

She eventually brought up “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams.

“I think she was ready to be back with Porsha, ready to be back as Frick and Frack. And so just say that, but don’t leave out calling us mean girls when you’re headed to the number one mean girl,” said Simone.

Andy Cohen asked, “Are you calling Porsha the number one mean girl?”

Simone proceeded to bring Kenya Moore into the conversation as well.

“She’s mean. She’s tried to fight on social media…she snatched Kenya down. You were there.”

Andy responded, “Why am I in it?”

  1. Simone was deflecting they are means and that’s why most of the newbies don’t make it past one season. When you ice out the person who helped to create the show( Mariah) you can’t see yourself as nothing but a mean girl but I guess The Married to Medicine cast don’t see it that way.

  2. This right here is why Married to Medicine could be cancelled next week and I wouldn’t care. These women are supposed to be so educated but they have the emotional intelligence of a turnip. They feel no need or desire to have empathy for other women who won’t tolerate their abuse quietly. Porsha fights. She’s not a mean girl because mean girls literally plot ways to hurt and embarrass women for fun. I don’t think any of them even like black women. Think about what Jackie said about black mothers dying during child birth. No empathy at all. They are all male identified and nasty. They make Real Housewives look like a sitcom.

  3. One woman has had 3 Fights on 3 separate occasions with 3 different woman.
Another woman refused to apologize for repeating a damaging lie and then turned around and told her own damaging lie on someone else.
But none of this is mean girl behavior……..cause they didn’t ice out a cast member….cause assault and slander aren’t illegal or anything….but God forbid friends fall out…

    1. Yes, this is my last season for RHOP, M2M and I do not plan to watch the new season of RHOA. These shows have ran their course and no they longer represent positive entertainment. Such a demeaning and degrading way to generate income. None of the participants are friends nor do they care for one another’s well being.

  4. Simone and the married to medicine fans can keep playing dumb and semantics all they want. The deflection will not work. They run a toxic workplace over there. They literally pretended to like Sweet Tea just to get her on the show to trash her while she’s going through IVF despite being OBGYNs. They defamed Mariah and kicked her off her own show out of jealousy. They brought Apollo’s abusive a-s on the show with his former side chick just to hurt Phaedra. Said side chick then proceeded to divorce Apollo due to alleged abuse MONTHS later. Simone brought up Quad’s niece passing even though Quad TEARFULLY begged her not to do that on TV. Toya ran around and told the whole metro Atlanta Ayden wasn’t the biological father of Mariah’s daughter just to be cruel. Jackie embarrassed Buffie about her fertility problems in front of a whole audience and said black women die from childbirth because we’re too dramatic. Quad lied and said Toya and Eugene ran a robbery ring. They enable Heavenly’s bullying for ratings. They should actually be better human beings than the real housewives because they are actual doctors. But they’re worse. Last Sunday we watched doctors talk about upholding the street code and not contacting the police when one is threatened because that is supposedly snitching and not manly. Stop playing stupid.

    1. Exactly… I’m at the point where it “mentally hurts” to watch this show they are all preaching accountability but none of them are practicing it and I swear if Contessa agrees to hanging out with Heavenly again I’m going to be pissed . I wouldn’t want to be anywhere by “Devily” Kines. She gets too much joy out of tearing people down

  5. The Married 2 Med girlies have been in this one sided beef with RHOA/RHOP for years because they are jealous their show will never be popular again because Mariah is gone. The money and ratings left with her. Every single one of the OGs are unlikable now. I don’t blame Phaedra for leaving for the better show. These old bitter betties are really messed up in the head. They think it’s their right to abuse younger black women. It’s something we see in the black community daily. Abusive elders are the worst. How can you even defeat that? You can’t. You just have to remove yourself from the environment like Phaedra did. Tea needs to leave too.

  6. When you’re a doctor and you compare yourself to Porsha Williams, you have lost the plot. These doctors are a joke. I guarantee you will never see Bravo finance or create a show with white doctors embarrassing themselves like this for a piece of change. I don’t think I’ll ever watch again.

  7. These dummies are why the folks in charge look at our race side eyed. Please do better because you OGs are not a positive look.
