On the latest episode of “Raising Kanan,” Raq and Kanan start to feel the pressure as problems in the business return. Juke returns from the army and Unique continues to cause problems in the shadows. Here is the recap for, “It’s All Love.”

Marvin is in the clear for now.

Jukebox has started her process of training in the Army. She’s handling the obstacles well.

The NYPD hosts a news conference to give the media an update on the investigation into a now deceased Detective Howard. They conclude he was a dirty cop who had ties in the drug trade in Queens. And he was working with Ronnie Mathis, Unique’s brother, who is also now deceased. When a reporter asks if they still believe Detective Burke took her own life, it is said this is still what is believed.

Meanwhile, Marvin and Raq receive confirmation from their lawyer Andre that they are in the clear from the feds for now. Pinning everything on Ronnie and Howard will give them room to breathe. The investigation into Marvin has been “buried.”

Krystal breaks up with Kanan. She didn’t want to terminate her pregnancy because she wants to be a mother. And she can’t move past this.

Garcia has his eyes on Kanan.

Detective Garcia is encouraged to keep looking into Howard’s case since the chief suspects the killer is the same one who made the first attempt on Howard’s life.

Marvin picks up Lou Lou from rehab. He thanks Marvin for paying for the program. Lou realizes Marvin has always been there for him when he needed the support. It’s hard for Marvin to accept the gratitude since Gerald’s betrayal is fresh on his mind.

Kanan goes to the house to let Raq know he needs a re-up. While their relationship isn’t great, they’ve managed to figure out how to work together.

Garcia pulls up on Kanan demanding to know where Fame is and what really happened to Howard. Kanan denies knowing anything but Garcia tells him he won’t stop applying pressure.

It’s concerning for Jukebox when she seems a recruit being honorably discharged after it’s discovered he had magazines for gay men in his possession.

Jukebox returns.

The family business hits a couple of snags. Marvin catches someone stealing some product when he visits the restaurant they use to distribute their drugs. Raq goes to Quan for a re-up just for him to inform her he’s raising the price by 20 percent just because he can.

Stefano has another job for Marvin. He hires him to take care of a bookie who has been skimming money off the top.

Lou meets with Lowell, the music label executive Shirley connected him with. He’s not confident about getting back to producing music because he just got home from rehab. Lowell proposes that Lou talks to his troubled artist B-Rilla to see if that could inspire Lou back to making music.

Juke leaves the army and visits Iesha at her college campus. They make love and Juke expresses her desire to stay with Iesha for a while until she can figure out what’s next. Iesha tells Juke she’s happy to see her but she’s in the middle of trying to figure out who she is. Juke understands. They share a kiss.

Marvin beats up Stefano’s bookie, who happens to be a Black man. He pulls out a gun on Marvin but Marvin knocks it away. When he tells Marvin he makes too much money to be killed and Marvin is nothing more than a white man’s puppet, Marvin kills him.

Kanan is warned not to rock the boat with Snaps and Pop.

Snaps and Pop don’t accept the money Kanan tries to pay back for investing into his and Ronnie’s drug business. They want a return for the money invested, not just what they initially invested. When this angers Kanan, Raq reminds him that he and Ronnie made this deal without her. So these are the terms. Kanan refuses to leave until Snaps and Pop’s people let him know it can get deadly.

While walking back to their cars, Raq warns Kanan not to play with Snaps and Pops. She and Kanan have a good thing going and he’s making more money listening to her. And he’s still alive because of her decisions, whether he likes her choices or not.

B-Rilla isn’t exactly thrilled to see Lou when he visits him in jail. He says he is there because of a robbery he had nothing to do with. If Lou can get him out by the end of the day, he’s open to making music.

Kanan goes with his grandmother to her doctor’s appointment. The cancer in her kidney is spreading to her lungs and other organs. She is dying and chemo will likely only make things harder. Kanan encourages her to tell Raq, Lou, and Marvin what’s going on.

Juke returns home and Marvin is happy to see her.

Unique is watching Raq.

Raq’s lawyer Andre informs her the feds know she and Marvin met with Stefano individually recently. She pretends to know Marvin met with Stefano. The feds are interested in getting info about Stefano. So this is a deal that may need to save for later if things take a turn.

B-Rilla makes his debut at Shirley and Lou’s spot. Krystal joins Kanan as he enjoys the performance. They are back on good terms.

Unique watches on from a distance as Raq hugs Andre goodbye after their meeting.

Lowell keeps his word after B-Rilla is spotted on stage rapping. He will prepare an employment contract for Lou at his record label.

Andre makes it to his home and is killed by Unique, as he assumes he’s been sleeping with Raq.
