Jennifer Hudson can add another notch to her long list of accomplishments. The Oscar winner and Grammy winning singer may have a new film on the way with the upcoming biopic for Winnie Mandela, but she’s got more reasons to celebrate these days as she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday.
On why Jennifer got the honor, the producer of the Walk of Fame Ceremonies, Ana Martinez, says:
“We are so happy to honor Jennifer Hudson with a star on the Walk of Fame. She is a great talent and a great addition to our Walk of Fame. Fans from all over the world have been waiting for this special day since we announced Jennifer’s selection for the star.”
J-Hud also posted a photo of her big day to her Instagram account and wrote the following caption:
Just got my star on the #WalkOfFame!! Such an honor.

Beyonce will get her star in due time. She’s earned it.
I think because Destiny’s Child has already has a star they aren’t really worrying about it. But everybody knows Bey will get a star and because she is such a renaissance woman and still setting high expectations they are probably waiting.

J-Hud is talented and has an Oscar. She deserves a star. This isn’t Kim K we’re talking about folks. LOL.
I’m confused why people are shading her for getting a star so soon. I have no problem with J-hud getting a star she is a talented singer and actress. She does have an grammy and oscar thats not an easy for anybody to accomplish very few have grammy’s and oscars. She will probably get a tony in the near future also. #shrugs people are haters.

I mean I think she’s very talented and should get one but, I do think she got one too soon… seriously I mean she hasn’t been active long enough to get one but congrats anyway! No hating or shading but I feel she should work a little longer.
No one is in a position to say when God blesses His children but Him. When we are awarded or granted things in our personal or professional lives, it’s for us because that’s what God feels we should have at that moment to satisfy His will, so her getting this honor is right on time for her in the will of God, not man! Congrats to her!
