Martell Holt and Melody Shari’s latest legal battle will play out on LAMH.
“Love & Marriage: Huntsville” returns with new episodes in May. The trailer showed fans should anticipate more drama and controversial moments. Martell Holt’s recent arrest will be addressed. Melody Shari filed charges because she believes Martell asked his former mistress to leak an explicit video of him and Melody onto social media. According to Melody, the video was recorded while they were married. This came about after a woman alleged she abandoned a budding friendship with Arionne Curry over this. The woman claimed she was the person who urged Arionne not to leak the video. Melody told her supporters she believed the woman because Martell had threatened to leak the video himself during a past conversation.
When Martell was asked to address the situation in an interview, he accused Melody of “bullying” him.
The video matter won’t be the first time Melody and Martell face off in court. They have also spent a lot of time in court over custody issues. At one point, Martell sued Melody for full custody of their children. He claimed Melody had too many babysitters and he wasn’t comfortable with her gay brother Marcus Minnifield babysitting them when it was Melody’s time with the kids. In response, Melody accused Martell of being homophobic. She also denied that she has “20 different babysitters” as Martell has claimed in the past.
A court document shines light on some serious accusations.
Interestingly enough, one of Martell and Melody’s court documents went viral on social media. YouTubers have been discussing them with followers and some of the things stated have LAMH viewers outraged. In multiple paragraphs, Melody’s attorney alleged that Martell has failed to adhere to the custody agreement by using “corporal punishment” on the kids. This includes allegedly choking and punching their son, as well as hitting all of their children. It was also alleged that Martell stopped going to court-ordered therapy with their son.
Another controversial point in the document is that it was alleged that Arionne’s daughter bullies Melody and Martell’s children. But Martell has allegedly done nothing about this.

This is child Abuse. Mental and Physical Abuse . Own Network, Carlotta Querk is responsible and shall be held accountable because they are benefiting financially on the pain and suffering of these minor children and their mother. It is not only immoral it is unlawful and unjustifiable and incredibly alarming to the psychological realm of one’s mind . Knowingly that your choosing to harm and then televise to the public the shame and further harm, currently and futuristically harm as this will be online for future views, thus enveloping more trauma later in their young teenage lives bring discord and disruption with malicious intent. I feel Melody and children should move away and get restraining orders go underground for a while. Martell is very dangerous and is an abuser I know one when I see one having come from 2 abusive marriages and having to make a move to save my life and sanity. Abuse for the children will affect them forever. What’s imprinted in the mind and heart will nor can never be forgotten. Long after adulthood these nightmares will appear to them and could possibly have an effect on relationships. Melody please secure your children’s minds now even though they have already been affected with filth from their father please stop the madness now to try to avoid any more danger and damage 💔 😢 this breaks my heart to see this play out on national TV for people to see and make $$$$$$. The people of this world are very cruel.

I feel Martell should be off the show. OWN is praising a mean man that’s a cheater, disrespectful rude to everybody on the show. The way he talks to Mel is crazy. But his karma will come. God sees everything we do and hears everything we say. Those are facts. All needs meet in Jesus name. 🙏🏾
