Singer Ashant is expected to release ‘American Idol’ type reality show.

Ashanti is currently in talks to release a reality show that will be similar to hit reality contest “American Idol.” The singer has currently been busy performing on the Broadway version of “The Wiz” and working on an upcoming studio album. While she is in the process of making a return to the Billboard’s charts, she also plans to take a shot at the world of reality television.
Ashanti’s reality show will center around the singer’s record label entitled Written Entertainment. While the exact details of the show are currently being kept under wraps, some suggest the show might involve artists competing for a spot on the label.
More details are expected to be released in the upcoming months.

Why does everyone need a reality show these days. I'm glad she will make a return to music though.
