50 Cent may be known for his beefs with other rappers, but these days, his beefs aren’t limited to those in the music industry. It now appears that he is beefing with his baby mama over her right to appear on reality television. As we recently reported, 50’s baby mama Shaniqua Tompkins was confirmed to appear on TLC’s new reality show, Starter Wives Confidential and she was set to be joining other exes to famous men such as Lamar Odom, DMX, and Floyd Mayweather. However, rumors suggested that 50 was not too thrilled about his baby mama’s new gig, so allegedly he made some phone calls to the network and requested that her scenes were not shown. A close acquaintance tells Radar Online:

“Shaniqua Tompkins started out taping and was really a great on the show, but after she started 50 Cent got mad and made her stop,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.

The rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, decided after filming began that he didn’t want her to reveal anything about his personal life or their child on the show, so he pulled the plug.

“Shaniqua had already filmed a lot for the show, but she didn’t want to fight with Curtis so she decided to bow out of the show before things got ugly.”

Now that the show has premiered, rumors suggest that Shaniqua has changed her mind about bowing out from the series and has been asking TLC to include her scenes on the show’s debut season.

She’s even managed to get some of her supporters to tweet the network and ask that they reconsider not showing her storyline. She also retweeted some tweets that indicated that she plans on fighting 50 to eventually get her story out (read from the bottom up):

As of now, the network isn’t budging from deleting Shaniqua from the series.

  1. Naw, she needs to have several seats. None of these women need a reality show. There’s nothing interesting about watching a group of women who refuse to really move on from their famous exes. If they were really trying to move on from them, they wouldn’t want a reality show that encourages them to talk about their past relationship.

  2. Another pointless reality show. I don’t care for 50 but I can understand why he pulled the plug on this. Not every man wants their business out there on TV.

  3. I still don’t see why any of them needed this show. Their “story” isn;t any different from any other woman who had a failed relationship that still resulted in a kid.

  4. She’s wasting her time. You can’t go on a reality show and talk about someone else if they don’t give you permission. TLC is not trying to get sued for a new show that may not even get renewed for a second season. That’s why these women need to stop depending on the name of the men they used to be with and stand on their own two feet.

  5. I honestly don’t blame 50. He obviously doesn’t want his kid or his name involved with this show. And that’s fair.

  6. And WTF is 50 supposed to be?! He gets on my nerves always trying to run someone. One day he’s going to meet his match.

  7. This woman is so rachet and I’m glad Fiddy shut that down. Fiddy always took care of his kid and provided for her as well. The house, the cars, cash. She decided to get a new man and have a baby with him. They were all living in Fiddy’s house he bought for her and their son. The new man wasn’t even working and everyone was eating off of the money Fiddy was giving her. When he found out, he put a stop to it and put himself on child support. She’s been fighting him ever since. If you want to move on, do you but don’t use Fiddy and act like he still owes you. Let your new man take care of you and your new baby. When he got her evicted from the house, her man and his brother burned the house down and tried to pin it on Fiddy. He got to move on and keep making his millions and he shares joint custody of Marquis. He lives 6 months with his dad and 6 months with her. There – her story is summed up for free.
