Although there was a pretty important football game going down on Sunday, a lot of people were still anticipating Beyonce’s halftime performance more so than the actually Super Bowl itself. Fresh from the recent “lip sync” controversy, many were looking forward to seeing Beyonce take the stage and even bring her former group members from Destiny’s Child on stage to shut the show down with her. Although Michelle Williams played coy last week and said she knew nothing about a Destiny’s Child reunion at the Super Bowl, both Kelly and Michelle showed up on stage with Beyonce and belted out a couple of their Destiny’s Child hits.

But as always, some people just won’t let Michelle Williams be great. And last night, it appears that fellow R&B singer Keyshia Cole decided to be one of those people. Keyshia, who is known for not holding back her feelings on Twitter and even dragging her own sister in front of the entire world via her Twitter account, decided it was appropriate to shade Michelle during the former girl Ā group’s halftime performance.

Keyshia felt like Michelle threw off the performance a little bit with less than stellar vocals and she had no qualms making her thoughts known to her followers.

She tweets:

keyshia cole michelle williams

Keyshia Cole’s mentions got ugly quick, but the singer made it clear that she wasn’t going to back down from her shade. In fact, she even claims she has beef with Michelle because the Destiny’s Child singer has made snide comments about her performances as well.

She tweets:

“by the way The Bitch Michell said some foul shit while I was performing once. But no one recalls that. I say what I want. No Likey. Run up.

“And yes my mom uses drugs yes it’s hard. Yes I’m from Oakland and made it damn far without influential biological parents!

“But hey! I love y’all too! And y’all girl is WACK and always will be! #Boss!!”

Oh Keyshia.

  1. I hate to say this BUT Keyshia just said what a lot of people were thinking. She’s a very real person. I like Michelle but she can’t sing. Kelly and Bey are the ones who had the talent.

    1. Have you been to one of KC’s concerts? err ummmmm Keyshia can’t sing either!!! While it may be true Michelle is not be greatest live….calling the kettle black makes one look a lil stupid. ijs…if I sounded like crap myself, I would’nt be opinionated about the next person with the same short comings.

  2. Let’s not try to act like Michelle’s dance moves weren’t off. Yall know yall were smirking when she tried to hit those Single Ladies moves…

    1. I thought I was the only one that thought she was off…LMBO….I like michelle and all but that girl know she cant dance….she was trying though……LMBO

  3. Keyshia shading Michelle is like Ashanti shading Keri Hilson. Some beefs are just pointless when both people are failures.

  4. Well at least she didn’t shade Bey because she would have had to delete her Twitter and move out the country had she tried it with Mother Bey.

  5. She said the damn truth! And I appreciate it. But Michelle still had a better career than Keyshia did. Who knows who Keyshia is outside of the “urban” market? And ain’t Michelle on Broadway now? She’s not doing bad at all. Key is on twitter acting crazy because her albums keep flopping. Michelle was on stage with Bey at SB. So yeah, Key can say the truth but Michelle has already won.

  6. Michelle has never been great! She couldn’t dance when they was a group! I expected nothing more than what she did. I’m just glad she didn’t fall like she usually does! Cause that would have been super funny!

  7. What people may not be aware of is that Michelle Williams has had a successful career performing in several major Broadway productions. She has spent the last few years touring the United States as well as international, she also has experienced an impressive amount of success in the gospel arena. If you have ever attended a broadway play you must be able to sing live night afer night, no pre-recordings. She has performed solo on gospel award shows in the past where she appears to be more comfortable than in the R&B arena.

  8. Hate to say it but Michelle f*** up their performance. The single ladies portion of the performance was the most horrible on her end. I agree with Keyshia!
