If you’ve been keeping up with the Hip Hop news as of late, then you already know that Lil Wayne is back in the hospital after reportedly having more seizures. However, the rapper’s health became a big controversy after TMZ reported that the rapper was on his death-bed and that his mother was on the way to make the hard choice on whether to let him go or not. The website ended up getting slammed by Lil Wayne’s close friends and family. The president of Young Money, Mack Maine, blasted the website because he claims that they got the story all wrong and Lil Wayne was not in a coma or dying at all. Mack Maine even claimed he was watching a basketball game with Weezy and that he was doing fine and recovering from the seizures. A spokesperson for the rapper did confirm that he did have seizures, but denied that he was in a medically induced coma like TMZ reported on Friday.
The whole situation has a lot of people questioning if Lil Wayne’s seizures might be a result of his “syrup” usage and TMZ made the speculation even worst when the website claimed that doctors had found large amounts of codeine in the rapper’s system and had to pump it all out to save his life. It also didn’t help that the label’s spokesperson did not deny that he had been drinking syrup prior to the seizures yet they strongly denied that he was in a medically induced coma.
Then of course there’s the fact that Lil Wayne had multiple seizures late last year while he was on a plane.
Interestingly enough, a source tells US Magazine that the seizures are a result of Lil Wayne’s dangerous syrup drinking habits and they believe the rapper needs to get help immediately:
“TMZ was so off base. Wayne is fine. He drank too much sizzurp to get a better high. He needs rehab but he’s not close to death or anything. He’s fine and just coming down off the high.”
He might not have been on his death bed, but he’s still an idiot.

Well if it’s causing him to have seizures, it should have been a wake up call that he needs to stop doing it. Either he’s selfish or just stupid because he has all those kids who need him around. I just don’t understand.

I feel sorry for his kids. It’s selfish for him to be doing a drug that’s causing him so much harm he’s having seizures and going to the hospital back to back.
If the first trip to the hospital didn’t change him, this one won’t either!

I watch a television network name Current which highlights celebrities last 24 hours. What I noticed about each case is the people they are surrounded by. The people they are surrounded by seem to be “blind”. They don’t see anything and they always react when it is to late. They eventually call the ambulance for help but by then the people are dead. Whoa. Be careful of your surroundings. These people will move on to the next big thang, the same crowd, same groopies, money whoers etc….! Even the best get caught up! They love to keep them “high” because they won’t know how their money is being spent and managed. How can you understand anything under the influence? It’s not good for a person to yes you all the time. These types of people seem to be smart enough to watch from the side lines, pay their mortgages, their children college tution, have fancy cars and bank their money. UMN! all off the celebrity. How does that happen? They say birds of a feather flock together. These birds just seem to flock their never caught up and they reap all the benefits of the life style. UMN!
