Juicy J scholarship details revealed? Juicy J has a new album out and some seem to think his offer of a $50,000 twerk scholarship is nothing more than a way for the rapper to push out more units. Whether it’s just a publicity stunt or not, Juicy J’s offer of forking over 50 grand to the best “twerker” has caused quite a bit of backlash. In fact, some women are even calling for the boycott of the rapper because they feel the offer is a misogynistic one. Regardless, Juicy is going forward with the scholarship and even released a video on World Star Hip Hop Thursday giving interested participants the details on how to submit their twerk videos. On the details, he says:
“I’m giving away a $50,000 scholarship. No bullsh*t. $50,000 on World Star Hip Hop. So I want to see a video of you telling me or showing me why you deserve this money. I’ll be picking the winner myself by the top ten videos. Listen to ‘Scholarship’ with ASAP Rocky off of my album ‘Stay Trippy.’ to get some inspiration. Make sure you share your videos on Facebook and Twitter. Tag it @therealjuicyj @worldstar and the #juicyjscholarship to get your friends to vote. Turn up.”
Interestingly enough, it appears Juicy already has his mind made up on who the best twerker is because he told Hot 97 on the red carpet for the VMAs that he felt Miley Cyrus is the best. He says:
“I saw a video and she twerked. Then when I went on stage and did my show in LA, she came out on stage and showed me what it was. I was like, ‘Wow.’ Miley Cyrus is the best twerker, hands down. Don’t get mad. She knows how to throw that a*s. She’s the best twerker hands down…She knows how to twerk that a*s.”
