Tami Roman quits Basketball Wives? Tami Roman is without a doubt one of the most controversial figures of VH1’s “Basketball Wives.” The reality star came bursting on the scene in the second season when she attacked Evelyn Lozada for sleeping with her ex-husband Kenny Anderson while they were married. Tami continued to “turn” up for the following seasons, but she and Evelyn became the target of an online petition after Tami ran Kesha Nichols from the show and Evelyn had been violent several times with former friend Jennifer Williams and newbie Kenya Bell during season four. Once the reunion for season four ended, it was clear the show had lost lots of supporters and Tami is still defending herself from the bully label she has been given by critics for her actions.

Now in the show’s fifth season, Tami is being reminded just why Royce Reed and Jennifer Williams are happy they did not return to the show. Tami is still mourning the death of her mother, and she isn’t happy that Evelyn and Shaunie are making certain comments about her in her absence, and she also feels like both women have been throwing her under a bus. After she slammed both for being shady in a video blog, it’s been whispers going around that Tami has finally had enough of “Basketball Wives,” and now that she just got the gig on “Tiny Tonight,” some endorsements and a new hair line, the reality star is thinking long and hard about not returning for another season of “Basketball Wives.”

A fan asked Tami the other day on Twitter if she had any plans to do another season, and Tami was clear that she is done with the reality show:

Only time will tell if Tami’s serious or just still upset with the first few episodes of the current season, but her timing couldn’t be better considering the show is now tanking in ratings.

    1. It’s not about the money. Tami is tried of being thrown under a bus so Shaunie can make even more money. It’s time for her to walk away and I’m glad she’s doing that now.

  1. *standing ovation* GOOD. I wish all black women would walk away from these trashy shows and stop getting paid to embarrass themselves.

  2. Props to her. I can see she’s seeing the light now. All money ain’t good money and she doesn’t need the show anymore. She is doing other things that are more prosperous anyway.
