Tami Roman is clearly one of the biggest stars of VH1’s “Basketball Wives,” but her stardom from the show didn’t come without controversy. The reality star has pretty much been slapped with the label of one of the show’s biggest bullies next to Evelyn Lozada, and Tami of course disagrees with the criticism. Although Tami doesn’t consider herself a bully despite what went down with former cast mast Kesha Nichols in season four, season five without Kesha and the other ladies who were on the receiving end of the wrath of Tami and Evelyn were not invited back and Tami was forced to see just how shaky of a friendship she really has with Evelyn and Shaunie ONeal.
And then of course Tami has made her feelings known about both ladies quite a bit in her most recent interviews and video blogs and she recently called both out for being shady. And with her new gig on “Tiny Tonight,” hair line and her new relationship book on the way; it’s clear Tami really wants to branch away from the reality show. In fact, she recently told a fan on Twitter that she doubts she will do another season of “Basketball Wives”:
Shaunie made it clear on Twitter that she wasn’t taking Tami’s tweet seriously, and perhaps that’s why Tami seemingly backtracked from the tweet in her recent interview with the Breakfast Club. When asked about the tweet and if she is quitting the show, Tami says:
“People took that out of context. But I think that it’s the show’s last season. I don’t really know how many more the five of us collectively, how many more stories we have to tell.
“I want my own show.”
Tami has also said in recent interviews that she signed up to do five seasons, and since she’s on her fourth with season five, contractually she did sign up to do another season. She just doesn’t think the show will return for a sixth season. And perhaps that’s because she realizes the ratings have dropped dramatically.
Evelyn Lozada however seems to be sticking to her guns when she recently said she doesn’t see herself doing another season of “Basketball Wives.”

So I guess Shaunie put her in her place and reminded her she signed a contract. She knows damn well she said she was quitting in that tweet. It was not taken out of context.
For the love of everything great VH1 do not bring this show back for another season. It has run its course and we’re over it.
Time for VH1 to to invest in something other than reality tv. No reality show has along shelf life these days. The show was pretty much cancelled after season four. It will never be a hit again. Time to move on and please don’t renew it for another season.
Tami girl bye. You did say you quit! I’m sure VH1 just kindly reminded you that they can sue you if you don’t honor that contract and it brought you right back down to earth. LOL.
That tweet was pretty clear. She quit. But I guess Shaunie let her know she would have to cough up the cash to walk away because of that contract.

Just when I was starting to have a little respect for her, she backtracks. If I were her, I’d just take the lawsuit for breaking the contract and pay if off with my business ventures. The show is not a good look for her and she needs to just walk away.
Yeah but she probably isn’t making enough from her other hustles to pay off a lawsuit from VH1. I mean the only reality stars making real money are the Kardashians. Second place would probably be NeNe because she has real acting roles. VH1 doesn’t pay that well.

Tami and Evelyn fail to realize that they can not carry their own reality shows. The only reason they blew up on BBW is because they were fighting. If they get their own shows and they aren’t fighting, the show will not do well. They aren’t as interesting as they think they are.
Agree! Maybe they’ll beat on there selves for rating. All theses reality people have to talk about other cast mates or throw something at them to be interested.
Disappointing. I thought she was being smart and quitting. Guess not.

With Tami’s personality and all the stuff she got going on in the works she can do pretty well with her own show. Not well as BBW or LLHH but be within the same range as LaLa’s Full Court Live. Far as Everlyn on her own she is pretty much boring, nothing to talk about, not enough fun personality.
