Rapper Lil Wayne is no stranger to controversy, and the Young Money Records founder is also no stranger to legal troubles. Although he’s been focused on doing shows and making up for lackluster music to his loyal fans, it appears that every now and then drama seems to find him. As we recently reported, the rapper had to stop a show in New Jersey after someone in the audience threw ice at him while he was on stage. But Weezy was able to keep the show moving forward after he threatened to beat up the culprit. He may have managed to get things under control quickly at that concert but it appears he’s having more issues with people tossing things at him during his shows.
Lil Wayne had to stop a recent show for a quick second after someone tossed a bottle of beer at him in Dublin, Ireland. The rapper calmly picked up the bottle and told the crowd:
“Before I get started, someone just threw this [holds beer bottle in the air] up on the stage. Where I’m from, we don’t throw things like this on the stage. So I’ll let you know now that I will not stop my show for this. But where I’m from, we throw sh*t back at your a-s.”
Don’t throw nothing else…
Apparently Lil Wayne was able to go on with the show after he gave the crowd a warning and informed them he wouldn’t be tolerating them hurling anything else at the stage. Check out the video below:
I really don’t understand why people go to concerts to throw things at the artist. That’s so stupid.
LOL people are dumb.
I like the fact that Wayne remained calm but instead of saying he would throw it back he should have just said security will escort him out. No need to prove you gangsta just simply have the person escorted out.
So disrespectful.
If you don’t like Lil Wayne, why even go to his concert? Smh.
Someone was being a drunk fool.
