R&B singer Keyshia Cole has another studio album on the way but it appears she needs to make time to deal with the IRS. According to documents obtained by Radar Online, Keyshia owes over $100,000 in back taxes. The site reports:
According to a lien filed in Georgia on November 25, last year, the federal government claims Cole failed to pay taxes in 2009 – and owes a total of $162,158.93 to the IRS!
In 2009, Cole embarked on her very first headlining tour, A Different Me Tour, that featured opening acts TLC, Lil Kim and The-Dream, but the government appears the 32-year-old signer still hasn’t paid taxes on that profitable year.
The IRS notes on the lien that they will seize her property if she doesn’t pay off the debt.
Why are these people not paying their taxes?
*in Biggie Voice* And another one.
Pay your taxes Keyshia.
The IRS will always catch you. It’s better to just pay your taxes and get it over with.
So while she was on Twitter trying to shade other artists, she should have been writing a check to the IRS! Get your priorities together Keyshia!
Well she better drop another album soon. LOL.
Morning all. I’m still salty about the game. It’s going to be a long day. LOL.
I honestly think they be lying about some people. Its like every week or every other week they talking about somebody behind on taxes. Why they wait until tax season to say something?? And if it is true why these celebrities not paying they taxes, shoot they got money. No excuse.
Pay your taxes! What is so hard about getting your taxes done? I do not feel sorry for anyone, especially celebrities who do not pay taxes. You can’t blame someone else about not doing them for you because it is your responsibility to get it done and make sure it is done.
