Lil Wayne is no stranger to controversy, and one of his biggest ones to date involves the backlash he received for an offensive lyric regarding Emmett Till.
In the end, the rapper lost his Mountain Dew endorsement over the lyric and he eventually ended up apologizing to the Till family.
However, it appears he’s still lost footing with some people.
At his recent performance during Drake’s Houston Appreciation Week concert, someone held up this sign:
Surprisingly, according to reports, Lil Wayne didn’t acknowledge the sign or its holder.

If you don’t like an artist, why even go to their show? People are stupid.
Lol. But for real, someone has way too much time on their hands.
Not even a Lil Wayne fan but this was dumb.
very!
So unnecessary.
LMAOOOO!
Believe it or not, some people do go to concerts just to boo or heckle an artist they don’t like. I think it’s a waste of money but it’s not uncommon.
I’m surprised he didn’t say anything about it.
Ok so I’d like to think that this sign isn’t a result of the whole Emmett Till situation because I’d hope someone standing for a cause such as that one wouldn’t try to get their message across like this.
I’m sorry I’m just not going to go out my way and go to a concert for someone I don’t care for. That’s so stupid to me.
Some people do too much for me.
lolololololol
Didn’t someone throw ice at him a while back too?
Yup!
Stupid.
Does this fool know he brought a ticket to this show? He paid Wayne so who gives money to someone they don’t like? Only a real HATER!!!!
