While the current state of Mimi Faust’s romance with Nikko remains unclear, the LHHATL star is still catching plenty of backlash for the raunchy video she made with him.
Nikko and Mimi originally claimed the video was leaked, but many found that hard to believe since the video appeared to be professionally filmed.
Although Mimi denied such a couple of months ago, she is now admitting the video was indeed filmed professionally.
In a preview of the upcoming episode, Mimi tells Ariane Davis and Erica Dixon:
“The initial tape was homemade. The company said we don’t have enough footage because it has to be a certain amount of footage to sell.”
When Ariane asks Mimi why she didn’t make this clear from the beginning, she answers:
“Because I didn’t feel like I needed to divulge that from the beginning.”

She still isn’t saying the whole truth. I don’t believe there was ever a homemade tape nor was anything ever leaked. They planned this because both wanted a storyline and it seemed like the best way to upstage Stevie and Joseline.

She really thought she would make a lot of money and become famous from this, and now she’s still exactly where she was before the tape. Nowhere, and making pennies from being pimped out by Mona.

She just needs to admit they were both in on it. I don’t think it was leaked. They made a tape, then lied to Livid so they could get a deal. They won’t be the first to do it. Kim and Ray J did the same thing.
Mimi is a mess. And I wish she would stop the act. She’s not innocent and she is gully enough to make a tape just to get attention and a storyline. She’s no better than Nikko.
