Rapper 50 Cent is expanding his empire by adding television to his ventures, and he not only is an Executive Producer of Starz’s hit “Power,” but he also portrays big time villain Kanan too.
Now that shows like “Empire” are racking up the awards and accolades, 50 is starting to feel like “Power” isn’t getting enough recognition.

Power is a great show. But why do we care so much about white awards shows caring about our shows and movies?
That’s what I’d like to know as well.
50 is always crying about something but I agree with him this time. It makes no sense how much they ignore Power. I think it’s because most of the cast are minorities.
I think it would get more attention if it wasn’t on Starz. Starz will never be as popular as HBO.
Ugh I hate that he is promoting Angela like that but didn’t do the same for Naturi.
I can’t stand this clown.
I can’t believe I agree with 50 on something.
He hasn’t figured out that he’s the reason? tragic.

I agree with him but he is that show’s worst enemy.
He’s acting like Power is as good as the Wire. Power is nothing but a sop opera. And I’m tired of them pushing Angela to the forefront like she’s some excellent and likable character. Her and Ghost make my a-s itch. And Kanan coming back like he’s Jason at the end is bull. I don’t know if I can keep watching. It’s corny.
I’m actually surprised Power isn’t getting love like that. I mean it’s white hollywood’s dream. Minorities in the drug dealing game. LOL.
I agreed with him up until the Angela plug. I am not here for her at all. She is one of the most annoying TV characters of all time.
