Ciara Defends ‘Jackie’ Low Album Sales + Promises Fans Will Love Next Era

In a recent interview with Hip TV, Ciara opened up about her next era and the low album sales of “Jackie.”

Fuse TV writes:

Ciara is not letting the sales of her 2015 Jackie album haunt her! In a new interview with Hip TV, the songstress discusses its lower-than-usual success.

“It’s about the journey. My journey has been pretty fun. We live in a time where record sales are way different. I’m not gonna blame it on the time because I’m really proud of the album, and I feel like it was one of my best works to date,” she calmly explained.

But don’t hold that last statement to her, though, as the “I Bet” singer is also claiming that her follow-up album will be equally major: “I’m super, super thrilled about this next chapter and I do believe this will be my best body of work for sure. I think that my fans will be very happy with the direction that I’m going to go in.”

  1. I love Ciara but I hope she realizes this is a make or break album for her. She needs to take her time with this album get with the right producers find the right sound and put in the work. She has the right attitude but has an uphill battle if this album doesn’t produce for her she really needs to stop doing music straight up.

  2. smh the same old thing. She has said for the last few albums that it was her best work ever….yeah right. Her fans blame her failed albums on the label or management, sorry it is her. Her music is generic. She can only make a single a hit. But got to give it to old girl she ain’t given up lol

  3. I really like Ciara and I want her to win. But she doesn’t have an ear for music.future’s an a-s but he was right about her on this aspect. It’s like she’s determined to release an album full of 2008 rihanna rejects. She’s stuck musically.
