Malcolm-Jamal Warner is Fed up with the Bill Cosby Drama

Malcolm-Jamal Warner stopped by “The Real” recently and he didn’t hold back when he was asked his views on the Cosby controversy:

Jeannie Mai: So reruns of the show have actually been pulled off of television.

Malcolm-Jamal Warner: Right.

Jeannie: I want to know, how do you feel about that?

Malcolm: Um, well, there… there… I feel several different ways. Um, one, because the show was taken off the air; it’s literally taking money out of my pocket. So I got my own personal feelings about that, because it personally affects me. But even outside of that, um, you know, you just look at how the media is playing this whole thing out. And I can’t help but think about Woody Allen, Roman Polanski, Stephen Collins, um, who it’s very clear…

[The Real audience claps.]

Malcolm: [Continued] …Um, you know, the crimes they’ve committed, but there’s no one that, you know, has been calling for Woody’s movies to be pulled off the air. Roman Polanski is still celebrated. Uh, Stephen Collins’ show still comes on. So it’s just interesting how it’s very unbalanced. They were trying to take Mr. Cosby’s star off the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And I am in no position to defend him because I can’t. Um, but nor will I throw him under the bus.

[The Real audience claps.]

  1. Yeah I agree the rest of the cast shouldn’t be punished for what Cosby allegedly did. If they were white, they wouldn’t have.

  2. I agree with him. People are so mad about Cosby but there’s white celebs who have done some really messed up ish and people don’t seem to care. You want to believe it’s not about race but how can it not be? Anyway, The Cosby Show will always be my favorite show of all time. It was the first time our people were on TV in a positive light.

  3. What about Charlie sheen’s a$$ going around spreading HIV now that’s a crime of admittance. This mofo going around killing people slowly but they pulling Cosby reruns…
