Sevyn Streeter made headlines recently after the 76ers cancelled her national anthem performance once they learned she was wearing a “We Matter” shirt, but the NBA organization backtracked once the backlash rolled in.

Good for her. I’m glad she called them out on it because doing so backed them into a corner.
I don’t know if they deserve another chance.
Damage control I can deal with.
I’m glad she’s going to wear that shirt again. These racists are about to lose their hillbilly minds.
I’m proud of her for being the bigger person. She’ll make a stronger impact by doing the performance and wearing the shirt versus refusing to perform at all. Good for business AND the people. Go Sevyn.
