Lil Wayne has been getting plenty of backlash for his recent comments on Black Lives Matter and now TI has some words for the New Orleans rapper too.
Earlier this week, Lil Wayne went off when a Nightline reporter asked him about Black Lives Matter and he made it clear that he is just not here for the movement.
His camp later blamed his comments on the reporter asking shady questions about Reginae Carter, thereby causing Lil Wayne to be angry the remainder of the interview.
But TI is still holding his friend responsible for the remarks.

Not too long after TI’s words went viral, Lil Wayne took to Twitter to seemingly respond:

I’m glad TI called him out publicly. If more of these ignorant rappers got called out by their peers, just maybe they could learn something.
I agree. But some feel he was wrong to do this. It’s bizarre how some black people are still wearing capes for a rapper who made it clear he doesn’t care about us.
TI is wasting his time. Fools will be fools.
He couldn’t call him and tell him this? No wonder Lil Wayne responded the way he did.
Did Lil Wayne bash BLM in public or private though?
I don’t understand why TI needs to say this to Lil Wayne in private when Lil Wayne disrespected BLM in public.
Chile his tweet is how I know he’s really not sorry for what he said in that interview. He’s a selfish c–n who only cares about himself.
I don’t know what’s gotten into Tip, but I appreciate all he’s been doing lately.
Yeah I’m about to become a fan now.
F-ck Lil Wayne.
Keep digging that hole Weezy.
It’s nice to see some people aren’t afraid to call out their peers. It’s definitely refreshing to see.
I love what he wrote. And because Lil Wayne had nothing intelligent to respond with, he chose to be ignorant as usual with that tweet.
Stay classy, Weezy.
Someone needs to slap some sense into Lil Wayne.
This is a wake up call to all of us when I say all of us I mean to the father’s and mothers of Children we must educate them about the dangers and pitfalls of drugs addiction and how we must not allow success to over take us because we have a few dollars in our pocket.@hhaad
I know some of the comments to TI was he should not have said it via social media and should have called him. He may have “tried” to call him and as most people say, including Toya, Wayne does not answer his phone. I also agree that because he disrespected his own people and BLM publically and so why should he get a private read.
