Tamar Braxton’s firing from “The Real” led to plenty of drama.
Not only did Tamar fall out with all of her former co-hosts, but her departure became the focal point of her fallout with former friends Monica and Toya Wright.
She even stopped talking to Tiny Harris after Tiny promoted the show on her social media accounts, but they squashed their beef publicly on Instagram last week.
So it’s no surprise that those who caught the premiere of “Daytime Divas” thought Tamera Mowry threw a little shade at Tamar during her guest appearance.
On the episode, Tamera talked to Tichina Arnold’s character, Mo, about working hard to make sure they don’t get the boot from their popular talk shows.
Tamera then said the following:
“We really do have the best job in the world. We cannot mess it up.
“You know what happens to the ladies who don’t play by the rules? They get the axe.”
Interestingly enough, a source close to the situation tells Urban Belle EXCLUSIVELY that Tamera is not happy that some folks on social media thought she was being messy:
“Tamera was not shading Tamar. She just read the lines she was given. She has nothing but love for Tamar and she doesn’t want to be associated with negativity. She would never do anything to intentionally upset Tamar and continues to wish her the best.”
I don’t think she was being shady either. But the producers who requested she be the one to read those lines knew what they were doing.

Well the intended purpose of making it seem shady helped. Everyone was talking about it on Twitter. I’m sure the network is happy about the free publicity.
I mean she had to know what this would seem like though, right?
She was booked for this very reason. Free publicity for a new show. Well played by vh1.
Believable. That would be out of character for Tamera.
Sorry, I think she knew what people would think. And she didn’t give a damn because she’s passive aggressive.
That’s exactly what I was saying. Both her and her sister keep a very low profile and have very good reputations in the public. They’re not about the drama, shenanigans and nonsense. I think Tamera was just reading the line as it was written. Now possibly, the writers may have been throwing shade but, not Tamera.
Ya’ll are making Tamar way more relevant than she really is. Imagine there was no The Real. Would that line still be relevant to the context of the scene? I think so. I know for people who feed off drama, its hard to believe that some people have no time for it in their lives. Tamera strikes me as one of those people so I believe her when she says there was no shade.
