When Irv Gotti sat down for another installment of Raq Rants with TMZ, they discussed Ashanti.
Specifically, when Raq brought up the relationship, Irv let it be known that Ashanti was not the one who destroyed his marriage.
Irv did admit that he was with another woman and when his ex-wife Deb found out, she went off on him, and ended the marriage. However, he says that he and Deb were separated for 2-3 years before this and he felt he had the right to see this woman.
Listen. She wasn’t a home wrecker. This isn’t a home wrecker scenario.
Let me ask you a question? Let’s say you’ve been separated for 2-3 years. I have my own place, living my own life. I’m not with her. And for 2-3 years, I can’t see anyone until I am legally divorced?
Ashanti did not separate me. It was a female named Tumbleweed. I ain’t gonna give y’all her real name or let you know who she is. Her nickname to us was Tumbleweed and [my wife] caught us in the hotel room f***ing. [My wife] whipped my a**.
Deb came down to my hotel room. Because she had ID, she got the key to my room, but I had the top latch on. Of course she knows I’m in there and wouldn’t open the door.
Anyone who knows Deb… Supreme gave her the nickname Deb Murder because she’s gangsta.
So the door is latched but Deb ain’t leaving. She’s making a ruckus so the hotel calls the police.
So boom, I’m looking through the peep-hole and [I see] the police touching Deb like, ‘yo, you gotta leave.’
When they touched her I told the cops, ‘Get the f*** off her! Whatcha doin touching her?’
The police backed up, and while I’m pressing them, Deb snuffs the s*** out of me!

He’s annoying.
Lies….he knew darn well that he was fooling w/Ashanti while he was married. His staff used to be scared to tell Deb when Ashanti was in his office alone w/him or they were gone together without Deb knowing…but I will let this Glo-Worm be great….
Yeah he’s really out here rewriting history. I also think the story was Deb ran up on Ashanti backstage once too.
