R&B great Brandy Norwood is currently trending on Twitter, and it’s all because she caused a stir with her most recent Instagram post.

Today is Whitney Houston’s birthday, and some feel like Brandy’s shot-out to the legend was bit on the shady side.

However, Brandy is clapping back at anyone who thinks she was trying to be messy.

  1. Brandy, GIRRRRL. You are not and have never been her daughter, stop trying to be. I swear her Whitney posts are more emotional than the ones she makes for her own child. This is obsession.

  2. I think her caption was really rude. To even say she loves Whitney more than anyone else on this earth like Cissy ain’t still mourning her daughter and granddaughter is disgusting.

  3. She was on @jasminebrand being messy af, calling Monica “ol girl” and saying how she Brandy was closer to Whitney. Man, they jumped in her a-s in the comment section with both feet. She thought she had time today but she really didn’t.

  4. Brandy’s a-s is delusional as f-ck. She got worse when her stans started that vocal bible sh-t. She’s unbearable now.

  5. Brandy suffers from narcissism. And when a narcissist is no longer on top, they can’t handle it. That’s why she makes everything about her, even Whitney’s death. She even goes out her way to find video clips of people praising her because she’s that ridiculous. I had to unfollow her.

  6. Brandy really has issues. There’s no way she loves Whitney more than her own mother Cissy does. Cissy loved Whitney for Whitney. Not because she was a singer she idolized. That’s not real love.

  7. I’m so glad my fave doesn’t do this. She’s too busy working and adding on to her net worth and empire. Social media is going to destroy a lot of these celebrities and they just refuse to smarten up.
