Brandon Barnes made it clear on social media that he wasn’t happy with how he was portrayed on the first season of ‘Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta.”
In fact, he and his cousin Ayana Fite felt like producers focused too much on his ongoing feud with Reginae Carter.
He wanted the show to focus more on his career, and he also loathed the backlash he received from viewers.
While he and Ayana both made it clear that they weren’t interested in returning for a second season, Brandon took to Instagram hours ago to confirm he has been filming the second season:

Why do people feel the need to fake quit all the time, it’s become quite obvious that these reality tv checks is worth looking like clowns on tv
Well him and Reginae made the show so I’m fine with this.
They really did. I mean the whole season was about their little beef.
Of course. Money talks.
I kind of figured he’d come back if the money was right. He probably pretended he was quitting to get more money. It’s an effective strategy if you bring in viewers, which he did.
Not surprised.
I know Reginae is in school now. I wonder if she’s returning as well.
I hope not that chile is hella annoying!! I don’t know who’s worse her or Brianna from the other franchise.
Ugh why? I can’t stand him.
