Tamar Braxton hopped on Instagram to accuse Vince Herbert of getting another woman pregnant, and in the comments on the now deleted post, she seemingly told followers that the woman in question is Laura Govan.
This caused a lot for confusion online, with some blogs saying Laura is not the woman, and with others saying she is.
It didn’t take long for Tamar’s fans to start dragging Laura on social media.
In fact, her Instagram comments got so bad she had to turn off the comments.
So it’s no surprise she reached out to TMZ to defend herself.
She told the website she has never had an affair with Vince, and she’s actually in a happy relationship with someone else.
She also claimed that her ex Gilbert Arenas is the one who started the rumor
TMZ writes:
Laura tells TMZ … she’s not a homewrecker or the “whore” who allegedly got pregnant by Tamar’s husband, Vincent Herbert. Govan says she’s never been with Vince, and on top of that … she’s not pregnant and is in a happy relationship with someone else.
Laura tells us the reason people think Herbert cheated on Tamar with her — besides Tamar suggesting it online — is because Arenas, her ex and baby daddy, started the rumor. We’re told he reached out to Tamar recently and told her Herbert was cheating with Govan.
Laura tells us this is completely false and is just a new way for Gilbert to attack her … and Tamar fell for it. She also says Gilbert needs to stop spreading lies and focus on child support — which she says he hasn’t paid since September.
Tamar may have put Vince all the way on blast, but she’s definitely not going to allow anyone else to add fuel to the fire.
After Dream singer Melissa Schuman tweeted that she believes Vince is abusive because he was hard on the girl group back in the day, Tamar was not having it:
Tamar really needs to get off social media for a few weeks. This is too much.
Umm it’s normal for the iconic groups to train hard because it’s not easy to become a great performer. MJ didn’t just wake up one day and become the goat. It took a lot of work. I don’t count that as abuse for artists to be pushed to train. But Tamar needs to figure out what side she’s on. Her own mother said Vince is abusive.
Somebody needs to take Tamar’s phone from her. I get what she is saying but she just needs to log off and stay off.
Tamar doesn’t know what she wants to do. If my husband gets another woman pregnant, I won’t be on Twitter defending him about a damn thing.
This really isn’t a good luck for Tamar.
