Evelyn Braxton made headlines after she accused Vince Herbert of being physically abusive towards Tamar Braxton.
This is one of the reasons Tamar is not promoting the current season of “Braxton Family Values.”
But it appears Tamar isn’t the only one feeling some kind of way about Evelyn’s actions.
Apparently Wendy Williams isn’t here for it either.
Here’s what Wendy had to say last week on her talk show:
What kind of abuse? Stop saying that. And not that physical abuse and verbal abuse…it’s all under the umbrella of abuse but I think in some particular households, verbal abuse is a way of life. It’s not called abuse, it’s called fighting, going at it these days, depending on on your household. Depending on how you grew up.
I think physical abuse is a whole other…it’s just as bad…what are you saying Miss Evelyn?
I don’t see Vince beating up Tamar. I don’t see Vince being able to run and catch Tamar.
If what you saw was so bad and so out of order, why don’t you call the cops? I don’t want to believe Vince beats Tamar because I just don’t want to believe that.
There’s enough room that if she wanted to get away from him, she would have. Miss Evelyn, please stop saying abuse. And it’s all wrong but can you be more specific?

Wendy is saying all of this because she’s cool with Tamar. She may think he’s not abusive but it’s abusive that he’s out here in hotel lobbies biting her finger. It’s interesting that she won’t even talk about that though.
If Vince is abusing Tamar why say something now… Everyone was hehehe with him like he’s a good dude and ish… but time that money get dry he’s been hurting Tamar hell call the police. The truth will come out I hope this not a storyline for this damn show too bring audiences in tho. If so it’s messed up on so many levels. No man nor woman should physical mentally or verbally abuse no one
Oooh Wendy should just keep it cute and mute on this one. It’s been rumored for years that Big Kev is abusive. And she sounds like a victim herself with some of these comments.
Every argument doesn’t equal abuse, like Iyanla said Evelyn is bitter. If Tamar doesn’t want to claim abuse or talk negatively about her son’s father thats her right
While I agree Evelyn is doing the most, so is Wendy right here.
Usually verbal and emotional abuse starts first and then physical abuse. It all goes hand in hand. So Wendy please have several seats. Furthermore, just bc someone knows something is going on doesn’t mean they’ll tell it specifically if it could tarnish a reputation. Tamar could be a battered woman and be dealing with the “battered woman syndrome “. Why do you think women stay or go back to their abusers?
