TI shows up to the studio to check in with King.
King has been recording music and he’s already been asked to perform at another artist’s show.
But TI doesn’t feel King is ready for this.
Regardless, King feels confident and he tells his dad to come to the show to be proven wrong.
LeToya and Toya catch up.
Toya says her talk with Reginae about Lucci didn’t go well. Reginae feels she’s controlling and that hurts Toya’s feelings.
So Toya and LeToya decide to throw a boot camp for the mothers and daughters.
Monica goes to a doctor to get some news on her feet.
The doctor says her tendons are damaged and she would need to have surgery.
He tells her she will need to take some time off from touring for 8 weeks after the surgery.
This is overwhelming for Monica. She has a lot to think over.
King and Tiny clash.
As the show draws near, King begins to get stressed out.
Zonnique and Messiah try to help him prepare. But he gets an attitude.
So Tiny gets involved.
She tells him that he needs to get his attitude together immediately. When he looks like he’s about to cry, she lays into him about how hard the industry is.
So Domani takes King outside to talk.
Tiny updates TI on King.
She explains the rehearsal was a mess.
TI says King needs to get his emotions in check before he does a radio interview.
Later on, King has a successful radio interview. After the interview, TI gives him some advice and tells him to learn how to work under pressure.
LeToya has her mom, dad and brother over for breakfast,
Her dad makes pancakes and doesn’t clash with her mother.
This warms LeToya’s heart.
King nails his performance.
Although his nerves are still a mess, King steps on the stage and delivers.
He’s energetic and the crowd loves him.
Both Tiny and TI are impressed that King was able to push through the stress.
Now they feel like King is taking things seriously.
It’s the day of the Mom and Daughter Boot Camp.
A therapist is there to mediate.
LeToya and her mom are up first.
After LeToya says she feels like what she does is never good enough for her mom, the therapist recommends that the spend more time together.
Zonnique says that Tiny can be too hard on her and her siblings. And she doesn’t like that Tiny can yell at times. She just wants Tiny to listen more.
Tiny says she can work on this.
Meanwhile, Toya and Reginae are clashing outside.
Reginae once again says that Toya is controlling.
But Toya doesn’t want Reginae to make the same mistakes she has.
They are the next mother and daughter to sit with the therapist. Toya’s mom and her sister Beedy join them.
Reginae once again calls Toya controlling. Toya reveals that her mother’s family was never affectionate. So she, Beedy and her mother are all trying to learn how to have better relationships with each other.
While this is happening, Monica tells the other women she’s getting a divorce. She breaks down in tears.
