“Black Ink Crew Chicago” returns in June, but that doesn’t mean the stars aren’t still getting caught up in some drama during the hiatus.

On the most recent season, Ryan thought he could escape drama by giving the original shop to Van.

But he’s still finding time to clap back at folks on social media.

In particular, he went in on a fan of the show after they made a comment about his hair.

I mean I get that they came for him first but um, the whole saying you look like a man to black woman bit always makes me cringe. It’s rooted in anti-blackness. He could have said something else.

If you dont want a man to say anything about you dont say anything about him stop with that black woman nonsense disrespect is disrespect what ever side it comes from.

Not surprised a man would tell me having empathy for black women is nonsense. That’s on cue for y’all. Anyway, you can’t change my opinion. You don’t have that kind of power or the debate skills required.

No rules in clap backs it’s plain and simple she came for him and he sent her a-s about her business

This is true for immature and insecure people. But I see most of the internet including Ryan doesn’t know any better. Hopefully he’ll gain some wisdom one day. He lacks quite a bit.

He wouldn’t have even fixed his fingers to type this if she was biracial like Rachel. I’ve sat back and noticed those two have some issues. When that IG person came on the show and told Rachel she has good hair, she was feeling herself. You could tell she’s so thankful she doesn’t have type 4 hair. And Ryan doesn’t even see himself as black. That’s why he didn’t care about Lily using the N word. So knowing all of this, I’m not here for this clap back.

    • Seriously?

      May 7, 2019 at 1:09 pm

I agree with all of this.

Sh-t Ryan probably believes in that whole good hair bullsh-t too. I still haven’t forgiven him for the Lily sh-t. Lily has straight up ruined the show and the shop, but he gives her passes and treats Charmaine like sh-t when she hasn’t done half the sh-t Lily has. And the n word sh-t made him look really bad. Even Don and Van gave him the side eye about that.

And that’s so ignorant to me. Type 4 hair is the bomb. It’s beautiful and versatile. That was ignorant of Rachel and the person who said that to her. It’s crazy to me how people of color continue to keep white supremacy going ourselves. None of us should still believe in the good hair bs. And I agree that Ryan was foolish to defend Lily the way he he did. You can tell she doesn’t really have a favorable view of black people by the things she said to Charmaine. For her to believe that going to a good school is a white people thing is so ignorant. She really thinks all black people live in the ghetto and have poor education. That is very racist.

I am surprised that no one called him out on still letting Lily work there.

  3. Yeah I Said It!

Why did that escalate so fast?

  4. Queen

    Social media is so toxic.

Celebs and reality stars have to learn how to ignore negative comments. Most of the comments about his hair and looks are positive, so why get worked up about this?

  6. Peachy

The things these people respond to.

  7. Nicole

Eww he said that for real? That’s the same thing a racist would say.

    • Marvin

      May 8, 2019 at 12:27 am

But it was ok for her to say he look like a woman? Stop with the nonsense.

        May 8, 2019 at 3:44 am

It’s not nonsense. It’s historically factual. Some of y’all are so against reading books and are only problack when it comes to black men. So I’m not surprised you feel this way “Marvin.”

        • Marvin

          May 8, 2019 at 9:20 am

So it was ok for her to say he look like a woman but when he said she look like a man everybody wants to be in a uproar. Pure nonsense

          • Anonymous

            May 8, 2019 at 9:38 am

Nicole said that Ryan said something a racist typically says about black women. That’s historically accurate. There is no uproar. You’re just upset that everyone doesn’t agree with you. That’s why you’re triggered by these comments.

That’s why you shouldn’t be on IG trolling. This woman got back what she put out: negativity.

Someone’s people read way too much into things. He never said anything about her hair texture or her skin color. She made a dig about him looking like a female based on how long his hair is, not his hair texture or skin color. He clapped back and flipped it on her! That’s it that’s all. And quite frankly I don’t think he was in the wrong. You dish it out you gotta be able to take it too.

But Ryan has been antiblack before. He believes in the good hair ignorance and defended a Mexican woman calling black people the n word. He’s also not black. So some of us have the third eye open. You’re only okay with what he said because he said it to a black woman. To be honest I mainly see black women okaying the disrespect of fellow black women while defending white women. I see it on the shade room everyday. White supremacy has done a number on black people. That woman doesn’t even look like a man. Ryan just isn’t into actual black women. Never has been.

Be careful what you say because you just might get a response you don’t like.it’s his hair he can wear it like he wants.

  12. Nicole

    May 8, 2019 at 3:39 am

She can say he look womanly but he can’t reverse it back to herI’m confused why people are talking about he wrong. He ain’t even go in like some of these celebs do. Ryan seem humble he FINE as hell to me but not arrogant. Love it! And yes he would clapback biracial or not if they disrespect.

    May 8, 2019 at 3:58 am

Of course people are defending this. Y’all hate dark skinned women. If that woman was biracial like Rachel, he wouldn’t said this.

  14. Nope

    May 8, 2019 at 4:10 am

Yeah I’m not okay with a man who defended a Mexican woman using the n word saying a black woman looks like a man. Sorry 🤷🏿‍♀️.

Oh hell no, people say all kinds of crazy sh&t to reality and other famous people. They think they know these people and can speak on their minds, but you get what you get. It’s kinda like hitting someone and getting hit back, don’t be shocked when you’re picking teeth up.

  16. Dark&Lovely

    May 8, 2019 at 6:45 am

You’ll must be blind. That lady is not darkskin first of all. As a darkskin woman, not brown, not light brown, not caramel DARK. The thing about lily using the N-word was not racis. She’s from philly here in philly our spanish community that’s born amd raised here we considered apart of our culture so she used that term bc we use it here. It has nothing to do with her being racist, so cut the sh!t. Lastly if she can come at someone bc of his appearance she should be able to get hit back with it, celebrity or not.

    • Tasha

      May 8, 2019 at 7:07 am

You are not a black woman. Your digital black face is obvious. Secondly, there’s a difference between Mexican and Spanish. Mexicans are not from Spain, pick up a book. Lastly, Mexicans will never be a part of the black community. This is the most ignorant comment I’ve ever read on this blog.

  17. Shayla

    May 8, 2019 at 7:15 am

I don’t like Ryan after he defended Lily calling black people the n word. He’s a disgrace.

  18. Lauren

    May 8, 2019 at 7:22 am

I honestly find all of this to be pathetic. Ryan is a grown man with a child and like many, he lacks emotional intelligence. The comment was stupid and didn’t require a reply. Too many people let what some stranger says on the internet rile them up. That’s immature and weak minded. Imagine how much more he can get done each day if he wasn’t online searching for and reading comments about himself. The same goes for Cardi.

    • Queen

      May 8, 2019 at 12:57 pm

Cardi is the absolute worst. She’ll even be on her vacation with her husband and child reading negative comments and having meltdowns on Instagram.

  19. Huh

    May 8, 2019 at 7:59 am

It just wasn’t that deep. Old school people believe long hair is feminine and only for women. They are the first ones telling their kids to cut their grandson’s hair because it’s too long. Ryan overdid it but he’s always been over emotional in my opinion. That’s why he’s not a great business owner. On another note, he lost my respect after the Lily situation.

  20. Gretta

    May 8, 2019 at 8:17 am

Never lower your vibrations to match someone else’s raggedy a-s energy. Ryan looks just as foolish as the person he responded to.

  21. Meh

    May 8, 2019 at 11:43 am

I find it funny that the most successful people in life don’t even really be on social media like that. And they don’t go on IG searching comments to respond to negative ones because they are too busy making business deals and they also realize how non cerebral that is. It’s becoming blatantly obvious that Ryan and Ceaser aren’t a real representation of successful business owners. They are really just reality stars so they don’t mind looking unprofessional on TV and on social media. I can’t imagine a truly successful business person willingly getting on TV and defending a Mexican using the n word either. Keeping that in perspective, his actions surprise me less and less now.

  22. My 2 Cents

    May 8, 2019 at 11:53 am

He cares way too much about what people think about him. He’s always in his feelings on IG and Twitter.
