Ryan is happy with his new shop.

He has a completely new staff, with the exceptions of Brittany and his assistant Gina.

Van is still running the old shop, and he’s free to do what he pleases there as long as he cuts Ryan a check at the end of the month.

Back at the old shop, the old crew is still getting used to the changes.

They don’t know what to expect with Van being in charge.

Charmaine thinks Van may be a levelheaded leader and things will go smoothly.

Bella doesn’t know if she should be insulted that Ryan didn’t ask her to join him at the new shop.

Minutes later, Van arrives after he has people throw out rose petals for him.

He also brings in a throne for him to sit on.

Van brings in his employees from his clothing line.

Bella is pushed to her limits.

He runs down the rules and says he’s always right. And Lily is not allowed in the shop.

Van tells Bella they will call her by her government name in the shop, Latifah. Since he feels like she’s just as messy as Lily, he’s keeping an eye on her. And he wants everyone to address him as Mr. Johnson.

After the meeting, Van tells Bella to clean up.

Annoyed with Van’s outrageous demands, Bella quits and walks out.

Charmaine interviews Phor at her radio gig.

He says he’s been in the studio for the last two weeks making music.

It’s been helping him deal with depression.

They discuss his ex Nikki and he says she reached out to him on social media after he opened up about depression on the show.

He feels like it was fake for her to do that because she could have just contacted him in private. She knew he had been battling depression for years.

So he feels like she only showed support on Instagram to make herself look good.

When Charmaine asks Phor if he saw the recent video of Nikki in the club with 50 Cent, he says he didn’t.

But he wishes her the best.

Rachel and Ryan go out for a bite to eat.

He tells producers it’s not a date but they are staying cool because they have kids together.

Ryan and Rachel discuss Van. Rachel still hasn’t forgiven Van for past drama.

But Ryan doesn’t regret making Van the boss of the old shop.

Phor considers working at the new shop.

Back at the old shop, Phor makes his return.

Charmaine complains that it’s too cold there, so Phor decides to go to the new shop to ask Ryan if they can turn the heat up. Plus, he’d like to tattoo his client in there since it’s so cold at the old shop.

When he gets there, Ryan’s assistant Gina tells Phor that he can’t just walk in. So he has to wait until Ryan comes outside to greet him. Ryan eventually comes out and tells Phor that he’s not allowing anyone to just walk in the shop anymore.

“You just don’t get to walk in this motherf*cker.” – Ryan

“It just feels different, man.” – Phor

Ryan says things are supposed to feel different because they are. He doesn’t want another shop to fall apart like the first one did. He wants this new shop to be more professional. And he’s always offered Phor a booth at the new shop.

So he gives Phor a tour and assures him that the offer isn’t off the table.

Bella and Lily hang out.

They are no longer roommates. Both are technically unemployed.

Regardless, Lily is glad to be out of the old shop.

She wants to work at the new shop but she doesn’t know where she stands with Ryan.

Bella feels the same way.

And Lily says Van being the new boss is surprising because no one respects him in the tattoo industry.

Bella feels like Van doesn’t like her because she’s cool with Lily.

Feeling petty, both women agree to crash the old 9 Mag’s upcoming party.

Phor gets his new booth at Ryan’s new shop.

Gina introduces him to the new staff.

He plans on moving everything in later that night.

Phor is handed a contract he has to sign to work there. He’s surprised by this. Everyone there has to pay percentages.

He isn’t cool with this and decides to talk to Ryan about it later.

So Phor returns to the old shop. He’s glad to be there since’s it’s not so many rules.

His client plays in the WNBA. Her name is Linnae Harper.

She wants a breast cancer tattoo in honor of her grandmother who’s a survivor.

It’s been a minute since he’s tattooed anyone, so it feels good to get back to it.

Lily says the N-word again.

The Old 9 Mag has its reopening party.  Dancers roll in.

Not too long after, Lily and Bella show up.

Charmaine and the others aren’t happy to see them.

Lily tells Van he can’t tell her she can’t be there because it’s still Ryan’s space.

She starts arguing with one of Van’s employees and she calls the black man the n-word.

So the man throws a drink in her face.

Lily throws a drink back and Van picks her up to remove her from the shop.

She demands he puts her down and she continues to argue with Van’s employees. She taunts them saying they can’t do anything to her.

Charmaine is over the drama and leaves.

And Bella goes off on Van and accuses him of mistreating female employees.

After she fishes, Van tells her and Lily to leave because they no longer work there.
