Bow wow gets Arrested.

The season begins with the recap of Bow Wow and Kiyomi’s Super Bowl weekend assault against one another. Producers got ahold of the 911 tape where Kiyomi described what occurred with her.

Mug shots were shown of the two and various news reports of the incident were replayed.

Da Brat calls Bow Wow in disgust of what occurred. She says Bow Wow showed off his anger issues in the past and she isn’t surprised at what happened.

“This isn’t new.” – Da Brat

Of course, the rest of the cast is talking about the incident, including JD.

Tammy and Waka recap their vow renewal ceremony with family.

Meanwhile, Waka and Tammy are hosting an event with Deb and family. They’re showing off their footage from their vow renewal special that aired earlier this year. During the event, Deb and Ayana talk about the incident. Ayana isn’t sure who to believe between Kiyomi and Bow Wow.

As the footage plays, Waka sheds a tear with Tammy and their mothers.

A 911 call is released putting Bow Wow’s antics on blast.

The next day, everyone gets info about another 911 call from Bow Wow’s assault. On the call, a woman says she overheard Bow Wow say, “Ima slap the s*** outta this b****.”

Deb goes to see her friend Andrea Kelly, the ex-wife of R. Kelly. This home visit occurred during the time R. Kelly was arrested and charged with eleven counts of misconduct against women.

They share 3 children and divorced 10 years ago. Deb and Andrea have known each other for a very long time and view one another like family. Andrea’s appreciative of how Deb has been supportive of her during her child support fight with R. Kelly.

Andrea is feeling quite attacked by Robert’s female fanbase amid the fight. Of course, they also talk about the incident with Bow Wow and Kiyomi. Deb says she needs to check on Bow Wow’s mom Teresa to see how she’s holding up.

Bow Wow tells Teresa what happened.

Meanwhile, Bow Wow’s at his condo when Teresa shows up. Teresa was shocked to see Bow Wow have marks on his face and bite marks on his chest.

Bow Wow says Kiyomi got incredibly drunk at the super bowl party and that led to the assault charges.

“Not one time did I touch her.” – Bow Wow

Despite this, he feels bad their relationship ended with violence. But he concluded that “love makes you do stupid things.”

Teresa grills him over what happened and felt Bow Wow should’ve left it alone. She then plays a voicemail that Shai left her about her daddy.

“You have to really think about her when you make these choices.” – Teresa

Da Brat links up with JD in the studio to talk about Bow Bow’s antics. She gives JD a dose of the “I told you so,” regarding Bow Wow and Kiyomi. JD feels she should speak to him and that irritates Da Brat.

JD just wants to move on from it all, which is the exact opposite of how Da Brat wants to handle it.

Deb and Tammy link up with Andrea.

Tammy takes her mom-in-law Deb to a dance studio to meet up with Andrea. Andrea is going to work with her to get Tammy ready for her “S*x With You” music video shoot.

After the rehearsal, Deb talks to Andrea about her artist boot camp she’s working on with Da Brat. Andrea’s happy to hear about this and wants to help out. During the conversation, Deb takes shots at Jhonni Blaze’s past antics on the show, including working in the Blue Flame strip club.

Da Brat grills into Bow Wow.

Finally, Bow Wow meets with Da Brat at a studio in Atlanta and Brat’s ready to light into him. But first, he puts Brat on a FaceTime call with Shai. That seems to have lightened the mood, however, Da Brat saw right through it. Bow Wow opens up about his time in jail and his case. He tells her everything is fine but she scoffs at this.

Finally, Da Brat demands to know what happened.

“I got my a** whooped.” – Bow Wow

Da Brat is adamant Bow Wow learns from all of this to not put himself in situations to end up in jail. In fact, he should’ve left, according to Da Brat, before things went too far.

“I need you to be the bigger person because you have more to lose than this b****.” – Da Brat

Things devolve between Bow Wow and Da Brat into a shouting match and eventually, Bow Wow leaves.

Deb isn’t sure if she can believe Bow Wow’s story.

Meanwhile, Teresa gets a phone call from Angela Simmons, Bow Wow’s ex. Teresa says she stayed friends with Angela even after their breakup and is excited to see her when she gets to Atlanta. Deb also meets up with Teresa to talk about Bow Wow’s incident. Teresa tells Deb that the mug shots show Bow Wow took a beating at the hands of Kiyomi.

“It’s not like he hit her.” – Teresa

However, Deb feels like Kiyomi has been defending herself. Deb also recalls the anger Bow Wow displayed at Da Brat’s party over Kiyomi.

Lastly, she feels Bow Wow has issues that need to be addressed and Teresa needs to call him out about it.

“Allow him to be a man.” – Deb

The footage comes of Bow Wow and Kiyomi in an elevator and Deb’s concerned.

The next day, Deb catches word of elevator footage involving Bow Wow and Kiyomi was released. Deb does not like what she sees in the video, which shows Bow Wow having to be held back from getting into Kiyomi’s face.

“Your a** is in trouble now, hun.” – Deb

When Deb text the video to Teresa, she’s on the way to meet with Bow Wow and his lawyer about what happened. Bow Wow’s hoping that all he has to do is just move on with his life without contacting her. In the meeting, Bow Wow hears from his lawyer that he must stick to the plan of not contacting her and the elevator video can definitely hurt his case.
