Chrissy Lampkin has changed her mind on marriage. Although she’s in a great place with Jim Jones, she doesn’t feel like getting married is something that they have to do. Jim is her family regardless. She tells VH1, “We are not married. I’m not planning a wedding. He’s just my guy. That’s how it is. And yes, I still have a ring. He’s like a part of me now. He’s like my family whether we’re married or not.”
Nowadays, Chrissy feels like a bond is more important. She says, “I used to think that a wedding was important but I think a bond is more important. A friendship is what makes that relationship last. Cause you’re not always in love, you know what I mean? You’re not always in love. You may love that person but there’s times where you’re not always on the same page. And that friendship is what keeps you together.”
Chrissy also revealed that she and Jim are in a long-distance relationship. She’s been living and working in Miami. And she feels like being in two different places has forced Jim to pursue her. Check out the video below.
