On the latest episode of “Black Ink Crew Chicago,” Charmaine and her father bury Glenda. It’s a very emotional day for them but they get a lot of support from friends and loved ones.

Kat shows up. And Ryan confirms that they are in a good place.

While there is no drama between Kat and Ryan, Jessica ends up feeling some type of way about Charmaine offering Kitty a job at 2nd City Ink. Jessica didn’t like the fact that Charmaine did this without talking to her first. Since they are business partners, she doesn’t think Charmaine should move this way.

And she isn’t sure Kitty has the skills to be at 2nd City Ink.

Here’s a recap of ” It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye.”

I haven’t seen the episode yet but as business partners no one should ever hire someone with discussing it with them first unless they were in charge of the hiring and firing.

I agree, you should always talk with your partner, but given the circumstances, I undetstand how this went over Charmaines head, she probably did not realize what she did. I think after the two of them discuss what happened, Chatmaine will apologize and they will work things out. On another note, I think that Kitty would be a great asset to the place. She is kind and respectful and has always been the level headed person at Black Ink. It takes a lot to get her fired up, but as long as others don’t come for her, forcing her to defend herself. She stays drama free. She would make a great receptionist/event coordinator for 2nd City Ink. Come on ladies, don’t let egos get in your way. Show the world that black women can be sisters to each other and hold it down. You are off to a great start.
