The case is dismissed.
Remy and Papoose get some good news. The case was dismissed. The judge said there was no evidence that she assaulted Brittney Taylor and the stories conflicted. It’s a satisfying moment for the couple and Remy is thankful she won’t have to ever see the courthouse again.
Cyn and Yandy recap the drama.
Yandy, Jonathan, and Cyn catch up. They discuss what went down at Somaya’s tea party. In a green screen interview, Yandy says she’s never had a drink thrown at her before. And she doesn’t think she and Kimbella can ever get past that.
Cyn then recaps her conversation with Tahiry and Erica. When it comes to the conversation, Cyn doesn’t like how Tahiry called herself “The Ex” while they discussed Joe. While Cyn still loves Joe, she doesn’t know what the future holds for them.
Safaree wants to take it all in.
Erica and Safaree drive through the neighborhood he used to live in. He’s thankful for how far he’s come. With their future ahead of them, Erica says they really need to head back to Atlanta to live. They were only in New York for the baby shower. Atlanta is their home and Erica is ready to start her nesting process.
But Safaree says that he really wants to bask in the moment of preparing to drop his new music. So he’s not quite ready to head back to Atlanta. This irritates Erica, but Safaree says that he will be fine with going back after the release party for his new project.
Not too long after, they get out of the car to look at the billboards of Safaree’s new project. It’s a wild moment for Safaree to see his face on a billboard. Although Erica is happy for him, she does hope he’ll learn how to balance his career and family life.
Jim still hasn’t come clean.
Chrissy shows Jim the progress she’s made on Mama Jones’ new home. In a green screen interview, Jim says Chrissy did a great job at interior decoration. But he’s nervous about what his mother will say when he tells her that Chrissy is the one who did it.
PHresher gets one more shot.
Jenn and PHresher still aren’t on the best terms. Since their blowup over Jada, Jenn doesn’t want to take PHresher back until he straightens up. PHresher tells Jenn that he got a loan to put a down payment on a house. And he worked out things with Jada.
But Jenn wants to sit down with him and Jada so all three of them can come to an agreement together. After she says this, PHresher gets emotional and tells her he’s sorry about everything. And he’s going to become the man she deserves.
So Jenn says he has one more chance to make things right.
Erica is fearful.
Tahiry and Erica talk about Erica’s pregnancy. She’s not far away from giving birth and she’s ready to go back home to Atlanta. And since she’s in the last stretch, her body has been going through a lot of intense things. She’s also nervous that Safaree may not be around when she goes into labor.
Jada applies pressure.
PHresher visits Jada and says that they need to sign paperwork about the money he owes her. He wants to pay her $2.5k a month. Jada wants to tack on $500 in interest if PHresher is late on a payment. If he doesn’t answer her emails, she’s going to call him from different numbers. He says the first payment will be sent at the top of the month.
Jada finds this hard to believe but PHresher says he’s not going to mess this up. He plans to pay the $40,000 he owes her. Jada records a video of PHresher agreeing to pay her at the top of the month.
Joe gives Remy an update about Cyn.
Remy and Joe discuss her court drama. She’s glad it’s all over and she’s hoping nothing else will delay her from making new music.
They then discuss Cyn and Joe says that they are working on communicating better. He doesn’t really see them getting back together at the moment.
Jenn wants to fight.
When PHresher shows Jenn the house, she talks about all the renovations she wants. With the conversation already getting a little tense, PHresher then admits that he met with Jada on his own. This angers Jenn and she starts yelling at him.
But PHresher says the meeting would have gone left if Jenn was there. But Jenn isn’t hearing this. She wants to fight this in court.
Mama Jones has a fit.
When Mama Jones sees her new home, she falls in love instantly. She thanks Jim and gives him a big hug. However, she’s not happy to learn that Chrissy handled the interior decorating. Mama Jones then starts pointing out the things she didn’t get that she wanted. This leads to an argument after she says Jim should have asked for her input about what she wanted. Jim disagrees and says he paid for the house and he doesn’t have to add things that don’t look right.
She then makes him leave.
Erica is disappointed.
Safaree ends up upsetting Erica at his release party. Apparently, he’s decided to agree to a two-week tour to promote his new music. Although she’s not happy about this, Safaree says he has to go through with it.
