Tamar had issues with WE tv prior to her suicide attempt.
“Braxton Family Values” star Tamar Braxton had been in the headlines for the past few days. It was reported Tamar attempted suicide while she was at a hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. And it was her boyfriend David Adefeso who found her unconscious. Days prior, Tamar called out WE tv. She told her followers that the Braxtons are underpaid for their successful reality show. She also said that the show is now too negative. And she faults the white producers for this.
Interestingly enough, there have been multiple reports floating around about Tamar’s issues behind the scenes.
In fact, it was also reported that Tamar sent an email to network executives and she called them out. She blamed them for the division in the family. Plus, Tamar also revealed a physical altercation took place. It was also claimed that Tamar said they made her suicidal when they exposed she was molested as a child.
Tamar was blindsided by the “Get Ya Life” trailer.
Then it was rumored that “Get Ya Life” was the last straw. According to a report from Page Six, Tamar was upset that Mona Scott Young was brought in as a producer of her new show.
When the trailer for the show went viral, this upset Tamar. It was said that the trailer didn’t show how much Tamar has changed. Instead, it came off messy, and not too long after, Tamar was found unconscious.
Recently, TMZ ran with a story in which the website claimed the family was puzzled by the 911 call made by David. During the call, David brought up Tamar’s issues with WE tv. And they believe David is really the one who had issues with the trailer.
TMZ also says that the family believes David has control over Tamar’s emotions. And whatever he feels, Tamar will as well. Plus, they believe he’s too involved in her business decisions.
Well, Towanda Braxton was not feeling this story at all. So she responded to TMZ on her Instagram account. She denied that anyone from the family has been talking to TMZ. And the website is publishing “lies.”
Towanda wrote, “TMZ Please stop having people speak on behalf of the family. Not one person from the family has spoken. Be careful what you put out TMZ. Stop spreading lies…I’m speaking on behalf of the family.”
