‘Braxton Family Values’ Drama Led to a Physical Altercation Between Family Members?

Tamar has had issues with WE tv.

Braxton Family Values” star Tamar Braxton has been in the headlines for the last couple of days. It was reported that she tried to commit suicide. According to the report, she drank alcohol and took multiple pills while staying at a hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

Her boyfriend David Adefeso is said to be the one who found her unconscious.

She was then rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. As of now, she is in stable condition.

In the meantime, a lot of reports keep coming out. And they are all about what could have led to the tragic situation. Before Tamar was found unconscious, she vented about her issues with things behind the scenes with WE tv. BFV has been a huge hit for the network for years. But Tamar has accused the network of underpaying her and her family. And she pointed out the fact that the Braxtons make 75 percent of what the Kardashians make with their show.

Tamar also thinks the show has gotten too negative. And family problems are being used to be the source of drama on the show. Over time, this has ruined the relationships between the sisters. Tamar feels the producers are to blame for this. She claims she’s been trying to get out of her contract. But she’s been unsuccessful.

More allegations surface.

So she was hoping things would be different on her new show, “Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life.”

But when she saw the official trailer for the show a couple of days ago, she was upset about how she was portrayed. She’s been trying to be more positive and she didn’t think the trailer showed that.

Now Page Six is making some interesting claims in a new report.
According to the report, Tamar actually called out WE tv in an email weeks ago. The message was in response to an email the network sent to show solidarity with the Black Lives Matter Movement. She accused the network of destroying her family for ratings. Tamar may have also hinted at a physical altercation taking place between family members due to the drama from the show. She said that the family is now “physically assaulting each other.”

At this point, Tamar feels like a slave to the network. She even changed her name to Tamar “Slave” Braxton on her Twitter account.

Page Six is also reporting that Tamar felt blindsided by the network when they brought in Mona Scott Young to produce “Get Ya Life.” According to the publication, Tamar allegedly did not want to work with Mona and told the network this. However, they reportedly brought her in despite this.

Being on a reality show just doesn’t seem worth it to me. You can make 6 and 7 figures another way.

I agree. Seems too stressful. You’d be better off starting a successful business.

I agree sis. Business ownership is much better than this. And if you don’t want to do that, there’s investing. And there are also great paying careers making 6 figures. These shows are entertaining to watch but exhausting to actually be on. And they probably still won’t release Tamar from her contract.

I went to WETV directly and told them how I didn’t like how Tracie her son grandson and father were the only ones to film on the show. I felt real messed up and sad how If the family is being paid to do a show they walk away from it the way they did. Yes they got back to me.

Reality shows ruin friendships, marriages, and families. I would never be on one. Prayers for Tamar and her family. I hate that things turned out the way they did.

I agree with Tamar that producers do like drama and don’t care that they’re tearing up a family in the process all in the name of ratings. However, this very same network wants to capitalize on the story, but they refuse to pay these people. Because Tamar came out popping the most, the producers thought they could use her larger than life personality and make a fool of this family. Why is the network doing this and causing turmoil to a family. I have love Tony Braxton’s music for years, and was excited when BFV were to make their debut. After seeing a train wreck unfold in front of my eyes, I was embarrassed for this family. The Kardashians made millions and tv appearance with a bunch of talentless individuals, and it worked. Why are people tearing down the image of a superstar and a family with obvious talent? Ratings would seem to be a good excuse, but the real reason is black women are at the bottom of the totem pole and not respected in the least bit. Tamar, stand strong and hold on to God’s unchanging hand. Consult with Oprah about her network to pick the show up and turn a situation that the devil has made for bad into something God will make for good. Be blessed Braxton Family….

Why are Black people such conspiracy theorists now? This woman literally said in her own words to WE tv that they made her suicidal for exposing that she was molested and you’re on here typing up silly a-s conspiracies? Newsflash, black people struggle with mental health issues a lot. Black people do commit suicide. Tamar has been struggling with her mental health. And not every single black man is toxic and out here hurting black women. Even when a black woman gets with a good man, y’all got some negative sh-t to say. Sad.

Thank you for being the voice of reason
These are not chiildren and they make decisions for themselves . Nobody made them do anything , and they have been in the business long enough to understand the highs and lows . They chose to live in the reality and entertainment world . As for coming down on Tracie for continuing to honor her commitments ; thats wrong on so many levels because nobody knows the whys behind her actions , and that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t care about her sister . She doesn’t have to be a Tamartian ; dammit she IS HER SISTER , and all of you neigh sayers need to stop being selfish and stop being nosey and sit back and wait for thar family to release information on their own time. Going after her family members because you can’t find anything out is not the way . THERE SEEMS TO BE A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT DEFINITELY NEEDS TO GROW THE H-LL UP , AND MAYBE JUST MAYBE , SOME MAY NEED SOME MENTAL HELP ; AND WE CAN START WITH Ms. Tamar herself . It happens to some of the best . It’s called being human and not being able to withstand the roads that life takes you down . Pray for her recovery instead of slamming others .
Thats the way to help her .

        Pat, Right On Sis!!!
Tamar was out of order from episode one. She dogged her sisters out, she ruined her marriage, it was all HER! She plays the blame game in everything she does. I suspected she was Bipolar during the first season. She wanted fame at any cost. Now she has it and probably never felt so empty. Whenever things didn’t go her way, she walked off set. She was a complete Brat with Iyannla when the family TRIED in vain to fix their lives. Ms. Evelyn plays a major part in Tamara problems. She evolved her daughters in her divorce from their father. Telling ALL MEN CHEAT EXCEPT PRESIDENT OBAMA. Theirs no wonder they all had marital problems. Tracey was the only one who stayed true to herself. Vince loved Tamar and kept her balanced by not giving into her shenanigans. He’s the ONLY one that called her on she b.s.
Mental illness is very real Black People! I’ve suffered and studied depression for over 30 yrs.
Her illness really reared it’s ugly head when she appeared on Big Brother. She argued with every single person there! One the the contestants even exploded about not being able to live around Tamar’s constant b*tching. Tamar threaten to fight the woman but that woman didn’t back down, telling her I’m right here! She takes nor holds any responsibility at all for ANYTHING she does. Very much like her self righteous mother.
I thank our Merciful God that she survived her attempt to take her life. And that maybe she’ll get the help she so desperately needed for so long. She doesn’t need reality t.v. but she damn sure WANT the attention that comes with the Fame. God bless her.

Huh? You can literally overdose and die from Tylenol. And David was already a Harvard Grad and multimillionaire before he met Tamar. Everything isn’t a conspiracy. Tamar suffers from mental issues and she’s been suicidal for a while. Let’s just pray things get better for her.

My prayers go out to Tamar and her son and family. I think Tamar was having problems long before, she had a lot of losses, The Real didn’t workout, she was hoping to get a grammy and that didn’t happen, her divorce to Vince, things about her pass coming out, Tamar has a son and to want to leave him it must be very bad.

Did anyone read the fine print? Mona Scott Young? 🥺OH H-E DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS NO!!
After several seasons of BFV, we have definitely watched a lot of wrongs being revealed which shadowed the good in that family.
Tamar has her own set of demons that she’s been wrestling with. At first she was royally getting on my nerves. Just really being a brat. Mama Ev checked that though. I think she’s screaming on the inside where no one hears her. I don’t think she’s the only one though. It all starts with their parents.

Of course Mona was involved. Makes too much sense. Anyway, I wonder who fought. It’s sad to see a family so divided like this.

This is really sad. I don’t see Tamar wanting to commit suicide and leave her son behind and after finding the man she wanted in her life. I do see her being quite pissed off with the network and finally letting them know. I can also see the network picking up on all the negative issues between the family. There’s a lot of jealousy in that family. I remember when it first started, Ms. Evelyn told Toni “don’t forget where you come from” after she made it and they weren’t interested in the sisters. To me that means, help your family out.🙄. Then Tamar made it, and to me she and Toni are the only ones that truly can sing. The other three, to me, seems they always had something to say about Tamar. The last show I saw, Tracie looked like she was ready to throw down.

I’m sorry for Tamar, but she is the most toxic person on the show..She talked about all her BIL’s and sister
but don’t say sh-t about Vince..Tamar is a toxic and yes she’s jealous of Toni and it shows..Toni should’ve
did this show at all..But her mother forced her to do things for the rest, so she never had a career alone.
She was responsible for everyone and Tamar was always talking about her ex and whom ever.
She lied when she said I’ve never been divorced, she was married and divorced earlier, she lies so much.
She needs Jesus and not playing games with the Lord, she’s best to get her Karma her then latter..
She needs to change her ghetto habits and that’s all her doing…

For the people who posted negative comments, only if we knew your story I can almost guarantee you have no room to speak a word about someone else’s issues. You wasted the time to say something negative, I hoped you have at least said a prayer for the family as I have done for you.
