LeToya and Tommi had issues in their marriage before the allegations.
“Friends And Family Hustle” couple LeToya Luckett and Tommi Walker have been through a lot. Before they had their first child together, they had some tension. And while LeToya was pregnant, there were moments where both felt they had to work on their communication. LeToya also didn’t like the fact that Tommi traveled often. Although they have a home in Atlanta, Tommi’s daughter Madison lives in Dallas. So he would get on a flight often to see her.
This made LeToya feel alone at times. Since LeToya suffered a miscarriage prior to the pregnancy, she really wanted Tommi to be around a lot more.
While discussing this, LeToya said, “Tommi is an awesome father which is one of the many reasons why I married my husband. But in his mind, I think that it’s still him and Madison. He hasn’t really taken into account that he does have a new wife who does have needs as well. And I know that there’s gonna be a shift. I just don’t know when that shift is gonna happen.”
Things got worse after Tommi’s mom passed away.
On season 2 of the show, Tommi’s mother Ruby battled cancer. As she got much sicker, Tommi knew he needed to go home to be by her side. Unfortunately, she would end up passing away.
As both Tommi and Letoya grieved her death, their marriage would struggle even more in season 3.
To top it off, Tommi was accused of cheating on LeToya amid her current pregnancy. Now it appears Tommi wants to make it known that he’s not giving up on the marriage.
