Marriage Boot Camp Season 17 Episode 6 Recap

On tonight’s “Marriage Boot Camp,” the house reels after Vado’s altercation with Tahiry.

Dr. Ish takes a hard-line stance against Vado. He, Judge Toler, and production all felt it was time for Vado to leave the house. However, Tahiry gets to stay.

Afterward, Dr. Ish has everyone take out their anger and frustrations with themselves on a boxing dummy. Each person had to express what they don’t like about themselves and had a chance to address these things physically.

This exercise seemingly caused another breakthrough for Shanda and Willie in their marriage. But others in the house didn’t take the exercise as seriously.

Lastly, Kurupt began drinking heavily again. This leads to him and Toni having even more issues. Toni also gets ticked off when she decides to check Kurupt’s phone.

Here’s the recap for, “Love Ya Self.”

Tahiry assaulted that man with apples to the face…first. If he had to leave the home, she should have been made to leave too. I despise how Dr. Ish….baited Vado with the bull-ISH statement ” So she had it coming to her” or something like that. Which was NOT what Vado was expressing at all.

The show’s producers and every “educated” and trained “expert” mishandled this situation for ratings …or unless they are really just that ignorant and bias. Men are victims of domestic violence too. I am removing this show from my DVR….not watching anymore.

Wow!!! Talk about double standards! As a woman, I totally see the bias. They treated Tahari like the victim. She is just as guilty if not more so because she initiated the physical confrontation after pouting like a 2 yr. Old.

She was dead wrong for hitting him with the apples!! They should’ve made her leave, she is not a victim

I wonder if Vado’s sisters and cousins are waiting on Tahiry to get back to NY?!

Emotions got the best of. Both of them. It happens. Is it right on either part – no. They are human and they both made a mistake. Can they recover from this….it’s up to them. But neither o e of them had control over how the producers handled the situation. Just because Tahiry wasn’t asked to leave doesn’t mean she hasn’t owned up to her wrong. Violence is never okay.

Tahiry should’ve owned her part in that altercation instead of blaming it on the Henny that Vado consumed. She instigated that entire thing.
Bottom line, they should’ve never embarked on more than a friendship.

Actually the message that was projected was it’s ok for a women to hit a man without any repercussions, this in wrong, Tahiry should have been asked to leave just as well never took responsibility for her own action just played the victim card, and the Dr. never showed her where she was wrong, never even mention to her about throwing the Apples at the man.
