Tahiry chose herself.

People have a lot to say about the latest season of “Marriage Boot Camp.” And while some are in support of how Tahiry handled things, others are not. They have been very vocal on social media, too.

In the end, Tahiry didn’t give Vado a ring. And Vado wasn’t even allowed to make a decision. She stated that the situation taught her about self-love and she had to stand up for other women and victims of domestic violence.

She said, “I had to stand up for myself, I felt like I could no longer keep allowing people to violate me. I had to speak for every woman that thinks it was okay. And I felt like I was every woman.”

While Tahiry did have some support from viewers, others were outraged.

And they made their feelings known on her Instagram posts. Some of these people said they were victims of domestic violence. And Tahiry’s actions didn’t sit well with them.

Domestic violence victims speak out.

One Instagram user wrote, “Tahiry, I am so disappointed in you it really hurts me so bad because I was actually in two really abusive relationships where I never put my hands on the man. I never cursed them out. I never disrespected them. They hurt me and disrespected me. One of those guys put his hands on my son and that’s because they were true abusers. I used to get slapped around and choked just because they were having a bad day…you’re verbally abusive, mentally abusive, and physically abusive. That man jumped at you and you took an opportunity to play victim and drag that man for the rest of the season. I have no respect for you!”

Another wrote, “BS. I’m a survivor and this was BS. I hope you realize hitting him with those two apples is Assault. This could have been a teachable moment…so disappointed.”

Some viewers are calling for a boycott and refusing to keep watching the show.

On the show’s Instagram page, some viewers even called for a boycott of the show and said they would no longer watch after the latest season.

One Instagram user wrote, “This season really disappointed me. I was a victim of domestic violence and I can say I didn’t deserve what happened to me. I’m not saying Tahiry deserves it but had she not hit him first and played the victim, he wouldn’t have snapped. For Dr. Ish to not hold her accountable for her actions while condemning Vado was wrong and disgusting to watch. I don’t know if I will watch another season cause this season was trash.”

Another wrote, “So y’all really let this girl play victim without acknowledging her behavior? I’m done with the show.”

Someone else said, “Dr Ish, you lost major respect and you need to address this bullsh*t. I will never watch this show again.”

While another person wrote, “#boycottmarriagebootcamp.”

As for Tahiry, she recently told a follower that when it comes to Vado, “edits worked in his favor.”
