Romeo decided to walk away from GUHH.
Romeo Miller‘s exit from “Growing Up Hip Hop” was a controversial one. He and Master P weren’t happy with the direction of the show. And they really didn’t like that Romeo’s fallout with Angela Simmons became a focal point of the recent season. So walking away seemed like the best choice for the Millers. They received a lot of support after they called out the producers and pointed out issues with how much the show has changed.
However, there was criticism.
Some felt Romeo was out of line to criticize Angela’s Instagram posts, dating choices, and to be offended by the fact that Angela didn’t respond to his Bible Study texts.
Others felt like Romeo was being hypocritical to put so much focus on his religious beliefs when his rap music isn’t necessarily in alignment. Romeo’s response to the criticism was the show didn’t show the real him.
Romeo sets the record straight.
Interestingly enough, Romeo was recently called out on Instagram. After he posted about working out before heading to his new job over at Fox Soul’s “The Mix,” someone wasn’t feeling it. The person said it must be great to wake up every day and not worry about money because he has millions. They also said that Romeo has enough money that he can hire the best trainers.
In response to this, Romeo wrote, “wish that was the case homie, but glad to know we made it look that way. Even when my dad didn’t have it he had it, let that sink. But blessings and never let me see u sweat, that’s the key ?? ”
