Shay Johnson’s appearance on “Iyanla: Fix My Life” was controversial.
“Love And Hip Hop Miami” star Shay Johnson recently appeared on “Iyanla: Fix My Life” with her family. While she intended for her and her brothers to hash things out with their mother, it didn’t really pan out that way. In fact, Shay was surprised that her brothers also had issues with her as well. Taken aback by this, Shay was angry after her brothers Emjay Johnson and Dr. Joe Johnson said that she was disrespectful. They took issue with some of the things Shay has said while she was angry.
Iyanla Vanzant asked Shay to just receive what they had to say and not say anything back, but Shay wasn’t able to do this. After she gave them a piece of her mind, Iyanla pulled Shay to the side and called her out for this. The two women began to argue. And after Iyanla tried to explain that Shay just didn’t understand the process of healing, Shay told her, “F*ck your process!”
Shay then left and Iyanla decided she didn’t want to speak to Shay again.
Shay Johnson called out Iyanla Vanzant on social media.
After the episode aired, Shay spoke her mind about her experience via Instagram Live. She had a lot to say about Iyanla. Shay expressed she felt Iyanla’s approach needed some work and she didn’t think it was fair that Iyanla refused to finish the session with her.
Shay also said, “You have to find the right therapist that you connect with and you just have a vibe. I don’t vibe with her, I don’t vibe with her attitude, I don’t vibe with her smart a*s mouth, I don’t vibe with her disrespect. And I don’t vibe with the fact that she don’t own up to sh*t.”
Well, Iyanla recently appeared on “The Wendy Williams Show.” After Wendy said that Shay said horrible things about Iyanla on Instagram Live, Shay felt the need to respond.
