‘Black Ink Crew Chicago’ Stars Mourn After Fly Tatted Passes Away

More “Black Ink Crew Chicago” stars speak.

“Black Ink Crew Chicago” has done a great job of discussing mental health on the show, but sadly, this morning the cast members are mourning. Apparently, tattoo artist Fly Tatted died by suicide. And his passing has left the cast sad and wishing they could have done something to prevent it.

Charmaine hired Fly Tatted for at her new shop, and she had some things to say on Instagram hours ago.

In a post, she wrote, “I wish I woulda got you help young blood before it was too late. Rip @fly_tatted1 so sorry I didn’t help you when it was obvious. I pray that all your worries, fears, and anything you was dealing with has been free’d from you. May you Rest In Peace.”

Don formed a good relationship with Fly Tatted as well. In an Instagram post, he wrote, “Rest up young king. Was just telling you keep growing and wining sad news to wake up to .  ??  ??  ??  ??  @fly_tatted1 I wish you could have healed from all that was eating at you.”

Don’s wife Ashley offered condolences as well, “Very sad news to wake up to, you were a cool and funny guy condolences to your family rest up king @fly_tatted1 ??  ??  ?? #blackinkcrewchicago”

Phor, who has had his own mental issues, also posted about Fly Tatted’s death on Instagram Story.
