Dr. Heavenly contributes to the Black Lives Matter Movement.
Heavenly helps out a young activist named Miracle. While Miracle was at a protest, she tried to help a man who was getting arrested. And one of the police officers punched her and her tooth got knocked out. The pain was awful and she’s thankful that Heavenly is able to help her.
Jackie gives Contessa some advice.
Contessa shows Jackie her and Scott’s new office. She’s focused on Addiction Medicine. Watching her dad struggle with drugs over the years was an inspiration.
They discuss Scott. Contessa says he quit counseling and Jackie encourages Contessa to make sure that she gets back into counseling for her own mental health.
The couples continue to deal with stress.
Anila’s parents come over to visit. Her husband Kiran is a bit overwhelmed by the company, especially after a long workday.
Toya has been stressed out trying to help the kids continue school at home. She also has to make sure she still cooks dinner and handles other household duties. Plus, she feels like she and Eugene have been too snappy with each other lately.
Quad slams Toya.
When Quad comes by to Heavenly’s house, Heavenly plays an Instagram Live video of Toya questioning Quad still being on the show. She also calls Quad’s place a “bullsh*t a*s apartment” and that she only films with Heavenly.
In response to this, Quad says she heard that Toya took out a personal loan to pay for her pool. So as far as she’s concerned, Toya can barely afford her new house. So she can’t come for anyone else.
Contessa has had enough.
Anila and her husband Kiran invite their family and the cast to an event to celebrate their Indian heritage. Toya isn’t thrilled to see Contessa there. It doesn’t take long for them to get into it. Toya is upset that Contessa complained about being required to take her shoes off when she went to Toya and Eugene’s home.
Contessa says she’s tired of going back and forth. And the pandemic has made her realize how petty some things have been. But Toya accuses her of using the pandemic as a defense, and Contessa decides it’s time for her to leave.
As she gets up, Anila and her mother try to grab Contessa and get her to stay. This upsets Contessa and she ends up accusing Anila of being messy and trying to set her up for drama with Toya.
Anila is upset about how Contessa left the event. But Contessa tells Scott she has no regrets.
